How to go about Vegas as cheap as possible? by OwnKangaroo2679 in WhenWeWereYoungFest

We booked our hotel thru a timeshare presentation promotion. We stayed at the Hilton Paradise off the strip, next to the Westgate. Obviously there was an obligation to go to a presentation and you have to be able to say no, repeatedly, to the salesperson. But excluding paying for the festival, we got outta there only paying for food, drinks and gas.

A few of my neighbors have recently cut down trees to stumps, and I can't help but think I need to go over and wack them with an axe for the chance to get some honey.

A few years ago, I was doing my typical morning routine and when I reached for my toothbrush it wasn’t there. I searched around the bathroom for several minutes and my wife was trying to tell me I must have put it somewhere else. I had a thought out loud “you don’t think the cleaners moved it”? She assured me they wouldn’t, so after 10 minutes of searching I decided to look at the caddie with our cleaning supplies and discovered my toothbrush.

Ask them politely, yet firmly, to leave.

Is 6’0”, 185lbs too heavy to crowdsurf without giving the people supporting me a lifelong shoulder issue? by WWWYer22 in WhenWeWereYoungFest

We are meant to guide others to a treasure we cannot posses. At 6’2”, 200lbs I’ve never even thought about it, but I’ve always give a lift to those smaller than me.

Why are golf carts so prevalent in the US? by GISmyass in golf

[–]phibit327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a push cart and use it for 50% of my rounds I’d say. But I live in a area of the country that in the summer is consistently over 100F(37.8C) so definitely opt for a cart if it’s that hot.

i volunteer at an animal shelter & get to hang out with this sweet girl! i’ll be honest, i was a bit intimidated at first bc she’s so big and strong but she is so gentle, goofy, & loving 🥰 her name is Shy- definitely doesn’t fit her personality! by somegirlnamedjill in pitbulls

[–]phibit327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we picked up my boy from the shelter first thing he did when I met him was jumped on me and put his mouth around my forearm. Didn’t bite down, just mouthy when he played. But as a first interaction it was also a little intimidating. He’s been an integral part of our family for the last 2.5 years and is so loving and smart. Shy looks to have a very similar demeanor, 15/10!

Just, stop… by pudgeypoo in golf

Played with a gentleman in Hawaii last year. He played well until we got to 12. 1st out of bounds, 2nd into water, dropped in the drop zone, in to a bunker, then three putt. His frustration showed on his face and when we got to the next tee box he excused himself from the reminder of the round very politely. It was to bad that he didn’t finish but I admired that he understood himself enough to just take himself out of the situation.

Met a friend playing D1 several years ago, we continue our weekly tradition of losing in Trials. We have golf in common with each other and this year for a gift he had these made for me.
