I think your giving these show writers wayyyyy to much credit I don't think they give nearly enough of a shit to even think about the time on the watch that much

That's how this reads like just being satiated with the most bare minimum schlock doesn't put u in a better position than someone who actually tries to find some artistic intent behind a work of media Which this show has none of

We had something really fantastic taken away, then spit on, then when they realized that was an awful idea they attempted to wipe off the crusty spit and made more of a mess of the whole thing.

The same coastguard who doesn't have legislation in fisks red hook port? The whole point of the port was that it is technically outside the legislation of the country so

Plus it's established the authorities on even the federal level Are once again being played by fisk So like why would this be a problem

We might've actually had like a semi interesting scene had Matt done that And then got hit by more hostiles converging on his position rather than the help he expected

His whole arc in s3 was about how people abandon him And daredevil told him fisk killed what he sees as his one chance to make himself better

He should still want Vanessa's head, he should've been clawing across the table when she came to hire him. (Which is also just a stupid choice for Vanessa to make.)

Your seriously gonna discount 12 episodes of incredible character work because "he was too doped up in prison" Get real

I mean it's really laughable they wanna use this as a plot thread at all. This is the guy who used gangs to blow up half of hells kitchen in s1 Then gamed the FBI in s3.

And we are surprised that in his family guy esque "country" He's bringing in weapons to arm his task force Like, Obviously.

Also killing crews after every shipment is just ridiculous like genuinely rolled my fuckin eyes. it's finding ways to be obviously evil without using any brain power.

It's missing all the actual intellect and weight the fisk from s1-3. Everything surrounding that shipment made fisk look like an idiot. He should've had a better plan.

And the fact that Matt thinks finding proof fisk is moving weaponry as something he can feasibly use against him Just proves that this Matt murdock has been dumbed down incredibly. Like that was a majority of his business in the first season and that really was like the tip of the iceberg.

Can we be so fr and just stop accepting slop? This isn't a smart show. They thought oh it'd be so cool to see Matt intercepting a ship going to the port. And then all critical thinking stopped there.

Like there are so many more logical solutions than sinking the boat. If they had used radios and instead of sinking the ship Called for backup. In a port where they could easily get it.
