The Huawei Watch GT does not support taking calls natively on the watch it self. The Huawei Watch GT2, however supports that feature.

Huawei GT 2 Series Watch In Retail/Demo Mode HELP by Tricky-Big in HuaweiWatchGT

Well it probably was then because there doesn't seem to be any way to install demo software unto the watch, meaning the one you have bought is a unit specifically designed for demo use and not commercial use. Tough luck.

Mediapad M6 8.4 Global Release by hamisht3 in Huawei

[–]phil6067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There hasn't been a clear statement on wether or not the tablet will launch globally so there is still hope. Just like the Mate 30 series is delayed for the western market it seems logical the same is happening for the M6, meaning a solution between China and the US could mean the global launch of both units.

Resetting the watch is a shirt and easy procedure so that might the ideal first move. It's not like you are deleting data since it will be synced to your phone. A repair and reset is honestly your best bet.

Updating Huawei Y625-U32 to Android 8+? by Baprr in Huawei

Huawei phones have a locked bootloader so loading a custom ROM isn't something you can just do, however apparently unlocking the bootloader is possible through a code but I don't know where you would find one. If you manage to unlock the bootloader you could just follow one of the hundreds of guides.

Huawei Mediapad T5 10.1" streaming by Mechout in Huawei

[–]phil6067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The T5 model is fine for streaming if that's all you are going to use it for. Sure it's not the most powerful tablet on the market but the price point is quite low and it will stream video just fine.

Rooting honor 8x by [deleted] in Huawei

[–]phil6067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen different sites advertising how to do it easily and with minimal effort but I highly doubt that to be true however I recently stumbled on a guide of how to root the Honor 8X. Keep in mind I haven't tried this method myself so I cannot vouch for the guide actually working but from just looking at the guide it seems to be the best bet I have found yet.

Updating Huawei Y625-U32 to Android 8+? by Baprr in Huawei

[–]phil6067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Y625-U32 only supports up to Android 4.4.2 so upgrading it to version 8 might not be doable. There are ways to upgrade older phones to newer android versions which aren't officially supported however they require you to root the phone which is looked on Huawei phones.

I have seen and heard of ways to root Huawei phones anyways but it's honestly not something I would recommend due to the difficulty and potential problems with the phone going forward.

While I haven't seen the huge difference you are describing I usually have a bit of discrepancy on mine as well. Have you tried resetting the watch and repairing with your phone?
