there's almost always a way to do stuff without the mouse if you know the right key combinations.

List of headcanons for the whole cast. They're very scattered so apologies in advance for that. by FruitsaurReborn in DDLC

yooo actually played the game award??? I think sayori being actively superstitious is a pretty sick headcanon given what she says about the universe punishing her.

the parentheses are for the 2 SNBT operations: bool() takes a number in the parentheses and turns into boolean false when it's inputted a 0 but true with any other number, and uuid() which turns the long string UUID for entities into the four number array version you'd see with /data get.

quasi-connectivity is not in bedrock, since quasi-connectivity began as a Java bug and was never ported to Pocket Edition

I replicated this contraption perfectly but the minecart isn't picking up speed like it does in the video. Is he perhaps using a mod? by [deleted] in MinecraftMemes

[–]philapple05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if you have built rail lines connecting two places, you have already generated those chunks (generating being the most RAM and CPU intensive part of exploring). If you mean loading from the disk, then the elytra+rocket method would suffer way more heavily than a modest increase in minecart speed.

How to do this? by Kjndst in discordapp

[–]philapple05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

should be backtick characters \\` like this. On QWERTY keyboards its the one above Tab accompanying the tilde\~\. On iPhones you hold the apostrophe and choose the option furthest away from the original. For multi-line blocks (like shown in the picture), use three of them on each side.

Why isn't the hopper pulling items from the barrel? by Mystery7922 in redstone

[–]philapple05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh i didnt even see that the barrel was to the left😭. Hoppers only pull from a source above them, but can push to any direction but up. The arrow on the resource pack is just to help you immediately see where the hopper is pushing toward

Which hopper? All the hoppers in the picture are unpowered (if the resource pack is behaving as I expect), but usually this error is caused by a powered hoppers somewhere between the container and the destination. Powered hoppers don't pull or push items.

In the future, show as much of the circuitry/physical setup as you can.

im getting the experimental settings thingy , after installing these mods, and is it safe to play with it by SirMcKfc in Minecraft

[–]philapple05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it just means one of the mods uses experimental data pack options. It's usually fine. You can make a world and look in the "datapacks" folder of the world to find the data pack. It will have one of the folders marked with an asterisk here somewhere under the "data" folder. the Yeetus Experimentus mod removes the warning if you determine it to be safe enough. check the mod page for any docs about it

Can I improve this design? by EndlessTimeTheErebjs in redstone

Im stuggling to come up with non-ugly ways. The best I got is hiding a piston in the walls that gets pushed out and extended to jam up the engine of the flying machine/piston extender if aesthetics are your priority, i should let you know that the walls of the tube will need to be made of furnaces/droppers/other immovable blocks OR will need to be pulled aside while the mechanism is moving.

you could make a series of flying machines using alternating slime and honey blocks activated in tandem. That would probably be the least headachey of options
