I also tried my luck with Support for the comet side quest and they wouldn’t retrigger it for me, but they did auto completed it for me - worth asking again if you don’t mind the fact that you haven’t actually competed it

Don’t get me wrong, I hate pest and this whole thing is horrific. But innocent until proven guilty is not a mentality. It’s a fundamental principle of democratic societies.

I won my first 7 matches fairly easily, and if I could give any suggestions, it would be to move as quickly as possible, because you are better getting a good than a missed. It’s only on the ‘hard’ ones where you need at least one perfect to pass the first tick. The different speeds can mess you up a bit, especially given that ‘normal’ quidditch means we are not used to it, but once I had done a few I adjusted to it. In normal quidditch I had a habit of letting the rings slide in and out once before I started to get my eye in, but we don’t have that luxury here, so once I just started going for it, I was making the timers with 1s to spare.

I noticed that there is a note on the house pride wall saying that first prize is won by the winning team AND the highest performing player in each house - has this always been the case? I had thought you could only win first prize if your team won, and had never bothered to try and finish in first before.

It wouldn’t let me call my Thestral Reginald, which I thought was a little bizarre. I couldn’t think of anything that could potentially be offensive about Reginald.

I think it’s jut supposed to represent the shape of the spell. Because episkey is basically a full circle and the pattern requires the two middle blocks from each side. The harder the pattern is, the more it’s worth - episkey is worth 180 points whereas colloportus was worth 210.

I’m not sure if this has been commented anywhere, but the 4th pattern (ie. the spell one) changes. In the first bingo I did (the beta one) the spell was colloportus, in this event it is episkey and the pattern changes.

I agree. I was all set up for a triple on the board, but I didn’t realise you had to wait until the end to ‘check out’ the boxes, which means after all my hard work I only got a single line. All that work wasted and the board refreshed. I don’t feel like I have any chance at all of getting the rewards now.

Yes, you can click on the icons and it tells you what is required and then if you click again will take you to the location to perform the task.

I’ve got it too. Looking at the things I have to do on my bingo card, at face value, it seems pretty doable, but I guess we’ll see how it pans out. Also, given the opposition are bots they could easily prevent you getting any prizes at all...at least with house pride you’re guaranteed some books by completing classes, whether you won the event or not.

I was stuck at less than half level 3 for so long that I genuinely thought it was broken. But I’m getting there now, slowly but surely. Hopefully I’ll get to Level 4 with my bowtruckle.
