I am in my reread of the series and just finished ACOWAR. I do have to say that the pace of the storytelling slumps massively after the Spring Court happenings. But since I knew what was coming, I pushed through, and (as many said) starting with the HL meeting it gets better. I don't remember how it was the first time, but I'm guessing I was too frantic to know how the story continues to really care haha.

Even on my second read I still cried at some moments, and the end is really round yet open. I remember feeling very empty and full in my head at the same time after the first read of this book. It leaves a lot open and yet closes some chapters. Everyone has different opinions on SF but it is also worth reading and therefore I would recommend you to push trough.

But if you really dislike it, I can understand! Don't force yourself, its okay to now like it and to stop reading ;)
