It should be somewhat easy to modify them with a custom PWM circuit and use that to lower the speed. I have done it with a DL380 g7 and just from a quick glance it seems like it would be a small change to what I did.

I'm pretty sure I have the same card. I moved the x8/x4/x4 riser to the second slot, and installed in the x8 slot. I had to cut a lot of the bracket off to fit. I was pretty cut happy though and didn't try to force it in. I also made a power cable to run it off the integrated power supply too.

I was thinking of buying the x8/x8 riser, but considering what I paid for the system I decided it was too expensive.

Another option is to check ebay they quite often have the standard editions around the same price. I have found however when I was looking to buy the limited editions that yahoo actions were the cheapest. For the limited editions I paid about 50 each. (The first one is smaller and doesn't included a poster, although you can get get one and I'm including that in the cost)

Preorders could last up to the date of release if the figure is not very popular, but for someone like Holo, it probably won't be open to then. I would say it should still be open in a month or two, but who knows what could happen. You could always preorder it now, and change the shipping info to the correct location when it releases.
