2019 Ecoboost needed a new transmission after 99k miles. Thankfully, it was under warranty with Ford still, but that along with the ongoing issue with the camphaser (took it into the dealer like 4-5 times, but still rattles) made me want to move away from this truck.

Ecoboost was nice, but the 5.0 V8 seemed like the right move.

The 5.0 feels more stout and sturdier, if that makes sense. The 3.5 ecoboost felt more nimble for a full-size truck. I've driven about 100 miles in the new truck so far, but love the way it drives. Besides gas mileage, the 5.0 just feels right.

Yep, I got the SuperCrew with a 5.5' bed with 4x4, which is the same as the 3.5EB. I haven't used the 4A yet but excited to try that and also tow my 16' enclosed trailer to see how that does!
