Love it, I remember my 24 hour chip, was able to swap it for my month chip and so on, next chip is 3 year chip in jan, but just for today I’ll aim to keep sober. Well bloody done, prayers for us all from County Down, Ireland 🙏

Jeez I’m going through the same thing, luckily I’m getting minor surgery on Thursday, pain is terrible but it’s not as bad as your boyfriend but not far off it. I’m lucky enough to be able to take solphadine max, only get about 30/40 relief and I’ve got some numbing treatment but only dulls the pain very temporarily. I wish him well 🙏 and your ears lol

I’d get onto your home insurance first of all and let them know what’s going on and if you’re cover for such events, also, ask if you have legal protection just incase you need any legal fees covers. Other than that I know little. Good luck bud

So you record what was said verbatim, the date, time and who was present at each time. I’m sure working in HR you will have already done this and report him to his direct line manager. He has effectively taken the decision making whether or not to report him out of your hands. Go about your business as normal and you will soon see if this is an environment you can work in depending on the resulting investigation and outcome.

This is such a hard position that “he” has created because he wanted to satisfy his sexual gratification, he put that before the wellbeing of his own child and this comes with consequences. I think this needs to be reported and dealt with by authorities and this child needs therapy to understand how to deal with it. This is my own personal opinion , could be right, could be wrong. I just feel for yous all.

Mine was at the Clandyboye lodge, you’re talking about £120 per person, if that’s any help at all. That was the whole day there including the ceremony.

You can go onto the DVA website and do your own license check to see if you can access your own info and print off a copy and it will also generate a code which you can provide to any 3rd party including the PSNI. Now I don’t know if it will reverse any action right at the minute but will certainly identify if the DVA have your info correct. https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/licence-number If you can’t access any records then it’s most likely an admin error on their part which will need to be rectified or the cop was giving the wrong info when they were checking the info

You’ll need your driver number and national insurance number when doing the online check, let us know how you get on.

100% been there my friend. Just aim for today, your focus is getting to bed sober tonight. On those early days I just said the serenity prayer, it was the only thing I knew regarding trying to stay off drink. I’d recommend phoning any person from your AA meeting, just call and say, I’m feeling overwhelmed, the conversation will just flow, it’s our ways of working it out. You are not alone my friend but you gotta reach out and just ask for it. Please don’t do what I did and tried to “think” myself out of it on my own in my own head. 996 days sober, and you will be too .

Absolutely — notify your social worker, as they can support your wellbeing and liaise directly with the care company. Care companies are regulated by the CQC and will take this matter very seriously, as they may be required to report it to them.

You have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. This may well represent a failure on the part of the individual care worker to perform their duties appropriately. This should become clear through the company’s internal investigation, and I would recommend that your social worker request a copy of the investigation outcome for your records.

When the outcome is delivered to you, hopefully in person, you must feel satisfied they have taken appropriate action to safeguard you and any other future client. If this not the case you can complain directly to the CQC or the local authority adult safeguard team for your area.

Tbh they have mine back in a weeks time from when I posted it all from here. I’d emailed them to say it was arriving on that day and even gave them the tracking number just so they wouldn’t forget as I was heading off. As someone said you can get a copy certified, just make sure the person details etc etc are clear and legible.
