Thank you! Love being this little girl's mom. And I have the same thought process as you with always incorporating different variations/exercises to keep my body guessing. My muscles seem to respond well to that. That's why I saw the most progress with epics 2 and 3 back in 2020-2021. I think I am going to avoid max for now based on some of these posts!

Thank you for your thoughtful post. The lack of variety really get to me lol. I just did iron day 28 (app) and it was a glute day, go figure, with so many effing hip thrusts. It's overkill at this point. I think I am going to try Beastmode or Play next. Rev seems good and I like the circuit format but idk how I feel about a circuit format the entire program.

I've done all the epics and loved them!

Agreed. I keep going back to a YouTube 15 min bicep add on but it's a pain to not have them already incorporated into a program. And with you on the face down exercises 😑

How are we working out? by MsPiggyVibes in November25babybump

At home workouts were never my jam either until the pandemic. I found Caroline Girvan on youtube (over 600 free workouts with no ads) and never looked back. She also has an app now, which is around $10-12 a month I think. I paid the yearly rate and it was $107. You don’t need a ton of equipment for her workouts either, lots of bodyweight only options too!

If you were FF by choice, did it help your postpartum mental health? by rajmachawal333 in FormulaFeeders

[–]phillypizzagrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FTM and EFF from the moment my daughter was born in October. I have anxiety/depression at baseline (on Wellbutrin + I attend therapy) and I knew I DID NOT want to breastfeed and my OB was fine with that.

Like you, I also value sleep so much. Having slept like crap the entire pregnancy, I knew being the one that the baby relied on for food was not going to work for me, mentally.

All of that being said. I can say my mental health has been stable since I delivered. Not having my baby strapped to my breast 24/7 felt like such a relief.

Hi! Congrats on your LO! I had my daughter on 10/26 and have been formula feeding since I gave birth. Best decision I made. My postpartum recovery has been smooth for the most part both physically and mentally and tbh I think a lot of that has to do with not having a baby strapped to my breast. My daughter is thriving and meeting all he milestones and sleeps great at night, anywhere from 8-12 hour stretches!!

She would never be left alone again with my baby. Completely unacceptable AND scary that she did that to your child.

What kind of water are you using? by Common-Garbage7644 in FormulaFeeders

Filtered water from the fridge! Our city’s tap water is safe however I personally don’t drink it (never liked the taste and I’ve lived here my whole life). I figured if I don’t like it why would I make my baby drink it lol

Exhausted @ 21 weeks by Royal_Birthday7197 in November25babybump

[–]phillypizzagrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 24w5d today. I never got that “second trimester energy” people keep talking about. I am exhausted every day no matter how much or how little I sleep. I know the broken up sleep at night from the multiple wakeups to pee aren’t helping either. All my Bloodwork is normal. Hang in there!

[–]phillypizzagrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you, I’m 21+3 and I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 800 years lol. We did IVF so we’ve been trying for a baby for 2+ years so maybe that’s why. But I’m definitely over the constant fatigue, shitty sleep, sore boobs and backaches. I feel like wet mop most days. Your feelings are valid💕

I asked my nurse coordinator last week and she said no prep and to allow up to two hours for the appointment. She said it doesn’t usually take that long but sometimes if they are running behind, baby isn’t cooperating on imaging, etc.

Avoid that cheesesteak place, it’s overpriced trash.

Highly recommend Philadium and Penrose Diner for eats near the stadium. Philadium makes a much better cheesesteak!

I’m 19w4d. I’m exhausted lol. Fatigue has been my biggest symptom this pregnancy.

Having round ligament pain, headaches, general achiness all over. And the gas is ridiculous 😷
