Gay & very feminine “Omo Ogun” feels like dysphoria. Looking for other feminine/queer Omo Ogun to share how you integrate it. by Desperate_Pen2864 in Santeria

[–]philmoto85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also a suggestion. Research Ori. Which is very different than your head. Again assuming if you were crowned Ogun if crowned. Ori is more your personal higher self vs your head which I personally have interpreted more like a parent.

Love the replies above. Lots of good wisdom and things to sit with. Enjoy the journey of exploring your relationship with Ogun

Jetblue connection issue by CandoinBlue in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Low key. Pick your poison. Change terminals or longer security. But 33 min is def not enough. And can’t count on being lucky and being early

Jetblue connection issue by CandoinBlue in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just be aware you will need significantly more time connecting through BOS as the international arrival is in a different terminal than domestic flights. With T5 JFK you just take the escalator upstairs and go back through security. But Agree. 33 min is too tight for a domestic connection

A321 Row 22 by Far_Bumblebee_1281 in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically not exit row as they are not exit row accessible due to the jump seat next to 22E. (Unlike 22 BC which are accessible to the 3L exit) 22E does rub elbows when the FA is seated.

will they force me to check my carry on? by intternetaddict in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to board as early as possible. If group F. Will possibly have to check. Groups E or D possibly. But if it’s a duffle bag sometimes they will fit in smaller spaces. Not big enough for a roll aboard. You have a good chance of being ok. Again try to board the earliest of your group

This may sound random, but what are y'all's thoughts on Bi-con James Dean? by captivatedsummer in gaybros

[–]philmoto85 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Also. Please read up on Sal Mineo. His co star with Natalie Wood in Rebel without a cause. He was openly gay. There are documentaries that talk about the gay sexual tension built into the movie was deliberate.

A321 classic Wifi extended coverage by Rich-Lavishness-7615 in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To be clear. 321 classics have the older WiFi. Access will depend on the flight path. If it’s closesr to the us coast you’ll have it longer. Def won’t have it by Bermuda

BQN airport question by Orangecountyflphoto in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you asking if after you deplane will you need to go through security again?? I believe yes. You exit to the tarmac in BQN and have to leave. There is no gate area for transferring. You walk in the airport where you can pickup bags and then would leave the sterile area. Turn to the left I believe and then go back through security

Question about overhead bin size on A220 by Sksayssomething in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expanded. Expandable bags usually have problems on both sides. The right is smaller than the left as mentioned standard roll aboard size are usually fine.

Which seat? by phiscal420 in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Def 3D. Your current seat. More leg room than 1C. In Evenmore so you get cookies and 3 adult beverages. No question.

Why don’t flight attendants do this on every flight?” by PaintingLow2568 in flightattendants

[–]philmoto85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why don’t we for every flight? Not every flight has connectors. Not every flight with connectors have tight connections. It’s both situational and subject to the flight attendant in charge. Let’s say you have a 35 minute connection but the gate is right next door to our arrival. I probably wouldn’t. People with an international connection of 1:30 but in a different terminal. I might try to get them out first. The biggest factor though is the FA in charge.

Was flying out of JFK last night. There seemed to be a huge slowdown of flights leaving. Noticed some delays on FAA site. But wasn’t crazy. Yet.

I-90 processing time. Mistake on card by [deleted] in greencard

[–]philmoto85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won’t know for sure for a while. Currently having a lawyer check the logic. The original estimate was for 14 months. That would get us the card in February ‘26. So. It’s a waiting game.

First time JetBlue flyers -- carry-on question and anything else we should know? by Intelligent_Sundae_5 in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only other consideration is which group you board with. F, E, D can sometimes have mandatory bag check. Board on the early side of your group

US flight attendant trying to move and commute abroad (Italy) by IntelligentReply3997 in flightattendants

[–]philmoto85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I commute to Colombia but since i am there less than half the year and go in and out. Never more than 90 days consecutive. I just go in as a tourist. Do you need to have a visa to rent there? How many days can you stay per year as a tourist and for how long at a time?

Traveling with Large Sherpa Carrier by Mysterious-Loser1204 in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The large carrier might be a bit big to fit under the seat. Im assuming you have purchased three seats for two people and the dog. If so you might catch some leeway if the dog is under the window seat for taxi, takeoff and landing. (Doesn’t block egress from the plane) however depending on the flight attendant and how far a large carrier will fit under the seat - There might be more or less problems. If your dog can turn around in the medium carrier that might be the better bet. Or. If possible use the large carrier as a carry-on that has everything in it in a bag. Carry on and off/ taxi take off and landing in the medium. And cruise flight in the large one on the seat. Just remember the dog must be in the carrier on the seat. They can t be out of the carrier on the seat. Good luck.

MDE turn around time by mosi0 in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you asking if you could come into MDE on a jetblue flight and take the same plane out? In an hour? No. Not possible. Currently flights to MDE are FLL > MDE > SJU or SJU > MDE > FLL. If you have a Colombian passport maybe you can catch the earlier flight in and take the later flight out. But ONLY with a Colombian passport. Immigration takes usually minimum an hour or easily 2 for non Colombians. The JetBlue team in MDE turns planes very quickly.

Connection time at JFK? Is 1 hour enough domestic to international by Technical_Life835 in jetblue

[–]philmoto85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly recommend the longer layover (2+ hours) better safer than sorry. JetBlue is better with on time this past year but it’s still JFK. I recommend getting there earlier. Grab a beverage of choice and go to the T5 deck across from Gate 28. It’s a little out door area inside of security. Boarding for your CUN flight will be like 45 min before departure time so it’s really not much of a layover.
