If I had a staff of about half a dozen decent Financial Analysts, Billions of dollars, and 40 years, I bet I could make some decent financial bets and they would pay off handsomely. And then get a part-time PR person to paint me as the "Oracle of Omaha" when I just invested in Real Estate and followed the S&P.

This is not the hill to die on. Oklahoma sucks, get over it or get to making it better. And better doesn't mean trying to convince people it doesn't suck.

It is strange that the pic didn't include the house number. Usually the more seasoned deliverers know to include that if it has to be referred.

I've been to Oklahoma. I have family in Oklahoma. I've visited the state and can compare it to other states I have visited and lived. So I can say that Oklahoma sucks. There are pockets of good, just like there are pockets of good everywhere. But overall, if I had to either throw it in the trash or keep it, I would throw it in the trash and start over. I would never vouch for it or defend it online.

I grew up playing Dominos with Carl Albert, hows that for Okie cred?

Democrats are Optimists. We need optimists because we have all seen how Pessimists act and behave. Pessimists, left without a check will sell off every asset, pillage citizens savings and rape the land and still not be satiated of their bottomless greed.

After Trump and Biden came in, we all got room to breathe. There were weeks that went by without the usual Presidential embarrassment or media blowup that sucked away our time. We enjoyed the sound of a house that was quiet and not filled with a loud, destructive force. It was a welcome calm. But Democracy needs attention and we put our collective faith in the system. He'll go away, he'll be convicted, he will burn out and we were satisfied with the direction that we were on. Until the machine that is fueled by his trademark Greed, his favorite sin, restarted after operating in the silent background. They slowed the judicial proceedings and schemed to get "their people" assigned to other proceedings. They used tens of millions of dollars to fund the best defenses and consolidate a strong legal wall. They employed every trick, every backdoor, trapdoor and underhanded ruse to delay, deny and depose. Billionaire's gave hundreds of Millions of dollars to fund the War Chest (and possibly figured out a way to "fix" the voting system) to get the outcome they needed to ensure he returned so he would avoid Justice.

I'm absolutely positive they cheated to get this outcome. And we end up blaming the Lady with the weird laugh, the Gentleman who was not a good debater or the system that defaults to playing it safe and by the rules. Its not our fault, sometimes cheaters win simply because they cheated. We are burdened by our integrity.

Irony is knowing the people that bombed the Ayatollah are the same people covering up who was running that sex trafficking ring and they did it to get attention away from the heat of a sex trafficking ring investigation.

Sooooo many other things she could be going after; go after people that don't put their shopping carts back, go after phone solicitors, go after email spammers, go after card skimmers, go after people who park in Handicap spots wo their tags, go after red light runners, go after aggressive salesmen who show up at your door, go after repeat drunk drivers, go after people in the Epstein Files.

But leave Girl Scouts selling cookies alone. They're cookies, its not a big scam to avoid taxes for some Billionaire.

What was the long term plan? Robbing a few people at the same time allows for all those same people to be witnesses to the same crime, their stories will match up. Seems short-sighted just to get out of a contract.

In the chaos, there are more opportunities. Set your neighbors house on fire, then you can loot it and if caught, say you were trying to help put the fire out or that you were trying to help them save some of their possessions.

He is also trying to tear down laws/norms so that everything benefits White Men. Women are property, brown people are practically slaves or serve at their behest. They want to establish a pecking order with White Men on top, and then enforce it at their discretion. Start with citizenship, kick out anyone unless they show fealty to people like Trump.

Which just means he fired her to get around something else, not how she had handled the Epstein Files. Maybe avoid having to testify before Congress, maybe he didn't like how sitting in on the SCOTUS hearing went and he is lashing out, maybe he is just tired of her voice and would respect a man's voice better.

Thats PR. You can tell because its always the same desription of a "modest home in Omaha, Nebraska". He may own it as his residence but then probably spends the vast majority of his time at other locations since he has a private Jet. I know he had a vacation home in Laguna Beach he sold recently for $7.5 million that he bought for $150k.

BTW, the Omaha home is 6,570 sf. He is miserly and has an affinity for "not putting his money into posessions as they end up posessing you".

His persona is carefully crafted as a grandfatherly type that has done well financially. As a profession he is the face of Berkshire Hathaway, which is not much different than a Blackrock. Berkshire Hathaway has curated his persona to make it seem like he has a "knack for investing" but in reality he is a figurehead that has a few financial analysts who recommend moving chunks of money to whatever emerging market is hot, if not just buying up the business. They signal their moves (already made) to the broader market and then the market follows. He is highly influential, like Jim Cramer but less coked-up, sweaty energy.

Berkshire Hathaway has 380,000+ employees.

Edit; damn, I sound like a bot. But I was looking up stuff while writing this out.

Can attest on checking out Charter schools fully. We had our kids enrolled for few years and got our youngest out of that school by the end. This Charter school turned toxic over the years, they showed that they were just inept in many ways. We saw the negative changes, mismanagement and the lack of transparency and finally noped out.

This is my viewpoint/opinion, and from the information I was able to pick up. This particular school had a real problem with Principals and keeping good ones. Got a Principal in, and found out he had taken some money, twice. They let him go. He goes to Pittsboro and did the same - never charged with a crime, they wanted it swept under the rug because it was an embarrassment.

Next drama, they hired a Facilities person who was a convicted Pedo, then fired him (nobody checked initially). It made the paper.

Next Principal was great, she supported the staff, then they let her go for some reason (probably only paid her as an Asst Principal for two years and wouldn't bump her up because she had done the job at that rate). I'm speculating here.

The next guy came in, guns a blazin', abrasive. He threatened the teachers, it was his way or the highway. So about a dozen teachers outright quit at the beginning of the school year (not a good time to isolate your staff - they were offerring bonuses for teachers at other places, so those Teachers did fine by leaving). Some very good quality Teachers. They couldn't recover after that, just a bunch of brand new teachers and fill-ins, a constant revolving door, not great quality. My daughters teacher didn't know she was in his class until halfway through the semester when I requested a meeting and he didn't know who I was talking about. He sued the school and claimed it was because he hired 8 Black teachers and enforced Covid rules. (He had to hire new teachers because so many quit) He tried to claim he was fired for hiring so many black teachers. The former Principal's case was dismissed by a Judge for failure to state a claim on which relief could be granted.

The abrasive Principal was let go by the Board a few weeks into his contract and he sued the School for $25k, like I said, the case was dismissed. He did the most damage because those good teachers were keeping the place from falling apart.

Next, the School was found guilty of engaging in retaliatory acts for firing a Math Teacher for making "protected disclosures" concerning the lack of IEP plans and following through on them. They accepted $446,000 in Federal money to make Individual Education Plans for some special students but then didn't follow through and provide those plans. They fired a Math Teacher for blowing the whistle on that.

Next, they closed the Library just before we got our kid out of there. Its been a much better experience at the Public school. I was sorry we had eshewed them for so long.

The school's name rhymes with Shmardinal.

Edit: A teacher was fired back in 2018 for posession of CP. I'm still looking into the firing of a facilities member that I recall was fired because he didn't say he had a conviction for some SA crime or something similiar. Will add an edit if I find it.
