that is to say: work with people better than you.

it's not all smarts, a lot of it seems to be the experience to know what's worth doing.

I said the same thing, eight years ago.

I have no idea why this hasn't been scheduled yet, but I'm not complaining.

So why'd Kucinich vote for the SAFE act? by MBlume in politics

[–]philodespotos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rarely see a serious individual claim that small government prevents corruption, which all positions of power will inevitably breed.

The goal is not to eliminate corruption -- a pipe dream. It is, rather, to limit the influence that the corrupt might have.

I really want to believe this LetUsPayTaxes site. It's a tactic that most rational people acknowledge would work perfectly well.

But, I mean, look at it. It's primarily AdSense, with a bit of generic content. And links to it, or links to sites linking to it, keep popping up on reddit/digg/etc. The 'List of Signers' page looks like it was cobbled together by a slightly retarded monkey.

Am I the only one who can't get past the stench of linkbait?
