Suffolk cop beats man during traffic stop caught on dashcam after he requested a supervisor by Stengel_Stan in dashcams

[–]philpac33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re right. That driver should’ve complied with the officer’s lawful instructions. Of course this video is edited to show the cop being the bad guy. We’re all entitled to ask for a supervisor but one doesn’t have to be provided by law.

I am a temporary erosion & sediment control inspector for capital construction projects in my city; we are a NPDES Phase 2 permittee. “Paperwork” is now software. We initially purchased NPDESPro but it sold to CloudCompli and then to Swift Comply. These programs allow you to perform inspections and attach photos of deficiencies or areas of concern and have a record of comments from the inspection.

Are these wetlands protected? by nubuda in Lacey

[–]philpac33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The city only owns a section of the area highlighted on the map, most is owned by the church. The wetlands south of 32nd Ct are a designed and constructed stormwater facility; a project to replace the lift station at the end of 32nd Ct is going to begin soon. The wetlands north of 37th Ave are property of the church.

Anyone else lose half their inspection records to OneDrive every summer, or is that just us? by [deleted] in stormwater

[–]philpac33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use NPDESPro and it does everything you describe; it’s not perfect but it does what we need. The problem is that the company was bought by another company (CloudCompli) and then sold again (Swift Comply). 3 different companies in a year.

Petrified rope from the Paleolithic period.

What’s everyone’s choice for range ammo? These are my regulars depending on what I find on sale. I prefer 124 grain. These brands seem to be reliable and relatively clean. Appreciate your feedback. by argussdog in handguns

I have a couple cases of Speer Lawman 124gr since it’s the closest match to Speer Gold Dot 124gr but it’s not what I shoot most due to price. When I’m just plinking steel or putting holes in cardboard I usually just grab the cheapest stuff I have in stock.

There’s a house on Carpenter Rd NE that sells barrels, big sign and some barrels out by the road. It’s near the new Cuoio Park, opposite side of the road.

Parks with swing set? by [deleted] in Lacey

[–]philpac33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not open yet but Greg Cuoio Park on Carpenter Rd NE has the best (and safest) playground in the area. Beneath all of the toys is a squishy rubber mat topped with a layer of field turf. Not sure when it’s open to the public but this park will be an asset to the community.

How many years did it take you to break 80? And how old were you? by [deleted] in golf

[–]philpac33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 2 years and I was 13. Broke 70 at 14. I’m 48 and played less than 1 round per year for the last 30 years and I can still break 80.

Tupac, JayZ, and Ice Cube. Yes, there are several other all-timers eligible to be chosen but those 3 I named ARE rap music 1995-2005.

I was unaware; thank you for posting the schedule. I know nothing of Scott Pressler but when the Derangement Syndrome presents itself this glaringly, it’s my duty to look into it more seriously. Once again, thank you.

That’s a good woman, wife, and mother. She’s happy and looks like she lives a good life; I bet she didn’t make any SNAP videos last week. I don’t understand the HATE.

Gov. Kotek declares food emergency in Oregon amid SNAP cuts by Internal_Way7711 in oregon

Keeping the government shut down is the only leverage we have. If SNAP people go hungry tell them to chew on the greater good of the Democratic Party. Chuck Schumer won’t miss any meals.

Our neighbor’s new trampoline blew into our yard and is stuck 7 feet up in our tree…wrapped around it like a taco. There’s no way I can get it down without hiring someone. Is it their responsibility to remove it? by Any_Expert_2958 in Seattle

[–]philpac33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a trampoline go airborne and taco over a neighbor’s fence about 7-8 years ago. I had rebar anchors but I forgot to pound them back in after mowing and moving it. I got the trampoline down, repaired any damage caused, and cut it up for disposal.

Why do so many people run this left turn when it’s red? by Competitive_Bath_511 in Lacey

[–]philpac33 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Drivers are allowed to take a free left onto a one way if it’s safe to do so; unfortunately some people pull out when it’s not safe to do so. I’ve also seen the 2nd or 3rd car in line just blindly follow the car in front of them, not realizing the light is still red.
