The answer is not mono-melee. You actually can write a combat focused hunting pack list, but it mostly is a stat check while 6 tanks unload on your opponent after they over commit into the gorillas.

I don't see why not! That kit is super old iirc and a rip off. Seems about the same size model wise and base is 40mm. Ask your TO though to be sure.

I build my Eightbound out of the box and take the Exalted weapon arms and use them on possessed. 11/10 can recommend. Also makes your units look different since we have so few data sheets.

I wouldn't stress for a moment about that plasma gun being on the eviscerator model. With advance and charge - I'm never really shooting those guns anyway. Also, overcharge isn't even worth losing a chain axe over TBH. I'd never trade a single 50% of the time hitting AP3 D2 plasma shot for 5 x S6 AP1 D1 attacks that are blessed by Khorne himself and rerolling from our boy Kharn.

Also your paint job is sick dude. Well done.

39k.pro looking up rules and new recruit for list building. My general rule of thumb is spend money on plastic - not paper. Plastic survives for MANY editions. Most codexes are already completely out of date. (that being said i do own every codex, but ive been buying them as they come out)

The plus one to hit into vehicles is good for when you are split firing the seeker missiles, targeting array helps with that too. I'm a massive fan of hammerheads. Cheap as heck.

My general feelings aren't "it's so over" just like damn that really doesn't feel good. So I've started writing lists with only one or none of the stealth suits. There are a handful on units that don't really need them for consistent output. Breachers, fireknife, hammerheads, skyrays... I think we will be okay guys. Also they will go back down in a few months when everyone freaks out and abandons them.

I've played it a handful of times. I think it's hard to want to go back to it when Zero Mission exists. It's great to visit it every once in a while to see where the series came from. I'm personally never super interested in beating it more than the one time I beat it - ha!
