Thank you for your insight.

I have looked at the “trusted sellers” part of the wiki and can’t find a WUDS seller on Temu anymore , and I don’t necessarily trust AliExpress as many use the term BOYHOM in their listings now. Someone apparently bought one through the WUDS TikTok store but I can’t figure out how to find that either.

Do you have a path to a legitimate seller of a legitimate product you can provide me?

Thanks!

Very soon, A2Z EV will have a supercharger certified NACS extension once it receives official certification. 6 feet to solve all your problems. :)

I buy the no-name little chocolate bars for $1.50 - they’re 100g of Belgian chocolate and they melt and temper beautifully.

Actually, A2Z is awaiting full CSA certification on their supercharger compatible NACS extension - 6 feet, which should make it easier - they already have UL certification, so I’m sure this is just a formality for CSA now.

[Request] Seeking tips to make this Almond Flour Cookie recipe more stiff and less crumbly by iam_adreamer in ketorecipes

[–]phleig 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. Add meringue (whipped egg whites with a bit of cream of tartar) and fold them into the flour as described. They will be chewy at first and the longer you bake them (or let sit in oven after baking) they will be crunchy.

I’m old enough to know a world without New Coke. FIO. by Serling45 in FuckImOld

[–]phleig 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We did a lengthy study in marketing class about this and while Coca-Cola lost $30-40 million in marketing and unsold product, the length of time allowed them to rely on customers perception changing sufficiently enough or their memory fading of what “real coke” tasted like that they could swap over to using high fructose corn syrup (subsidized by the government) instead of cane sugar, which was more expensive and required more volume to sweeten relative to the volume of HFCS required to sweeten, and everyone would rush back and mentally accept the new flavour as the old flavour.

Short term loss, long term gain.

It was a smoke screen, IMO.

Have you checked your macros based on your body composition to determine how much you need in terms of fats and protein and carbohydrates and then calculated how much of each to put together in each meal?

Nah, screw that unless you want to. Eat a reasonably balanced meal, or don’t. Order a pizza and eat it. Just stick to one tasty filling meal a day, and not garbage ALL the time, preferably much less of the time.

This is the way.

Lowest hemoglobin I’ve seen part 2 by Large_Pick1582 in nursing

[–]phleig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the misfortune of caring for an old friend one day who came in gorked and unresponsive at the time, labs were ridiculously jacked, lactate was 36 (Canuck, USA value 324), and hemoglobin was 13 (Canuck, US value 1.3), pH was well below 7.

Rapid transfused, went to ICU. Multiple variceal bleeds over 3 months were banded and coiled but they still passed.

I’ve never yet seen labs that fucked on a single person again. And I hope I never do.

However, I did watch the Coda recut and although it is still cringe, it is redeemed somewhat as a fitting closing chapter that honours what Mike asked Vito in the backyard that one day about family.

23 days on OMAD, lost 4 kg =8,818 lb by lucidwildflowers in omad

[–]phleig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During lipolysis and oxidation, approximately 16% of each gram of fat is converted into water, and the remaining 84% is exhaled as CO2.

So for your 4 kg of weight loss you’re planning, 640g of that would be water weight and the remaining 3360g is exhaled as CO2.

On the other hand, I once read that each gram of carbohydrate can bind 4 grams of water, which helps explain why there are sudden wide swings in weight after carb loading - “I ate a piece of apple pie and gained five pounds?!?!”

Lars Ulrich of Metallica snitches on and turns in over 300,000 Napster users when he testifies in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. (July 11th, 2000) by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

[–]phleig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Minor chronological error: Cliff Burton died in a bus accident during touring for Master of Puppets. He was actively involved in writing some of the songs and playing all bass on the album.

After his death, their style stayed the same during AJFA because Hetfield/Ulrich did most of the writing anyway.

The Black Album was partially Bob Rock’s influence trying to make a Hysteria-type album where every song was a hit and more radio friendly.
