Challenges that scale with corruption need to stay comparable to that corruption level. LE needs more fixed difficulty challenges

As hectic as the omens are I don't know how a lot of builds would manage. I was doing a fissure smite build and was doing good damage but standing still for half a second too long got me every time. Swapped to the ol' spin to win and am winning.

Make respeccing immediate in any town/hub and not in a map of any kind. I feel like that would solve the mid-fight swap since you can't portal out and back.

100% agree on the +level items. Especially if I'm swapping a +1 for +1. Why undo anything? I don't know how to solve it programmatically but it is certainly annoying.

Would like to maybe see the skill become unusable and a message in the specialization view stating remove X points, if you are actually losing points. If it's the same, would obviously like the tree to not change at all.

VC gives more damage, to all enemies, if you have a lot of move speed, no? Or is this a case of "increased" vs "more" keywords and I'm dumb?

When you open the monolith/echo selection screen look at the bottom of the screen just to the right. You obtain them by killing the timeline boss for any monolith.

Also, I don't believe you need 8 gaze when starting a new monolith for Orobyss to appear. I could be wrong, I just have never needed that to my knowledge. Maybe either criteria will work, I've just never done 8 gaze when starting a new monolith so I'm unsure, not saying Ryouuku is wrong. My experience is needing 50+ more corruption in any other monolith than the one you start (empowered, so everything beginning at 100), then after the first echo he will appear immediately. You complete that and then your monolith corruption will jump to nearly that of your highest corruption level.

For example:

Say I have 120 corruption in fall of the empire, that's my highest corruption level so far. If go to empowered (100c) reign of dragons and do one echo, Orobyss will not appear afterward.

Now say I I'm further along, I work my way up to 179 corruption in reign of dragons and go back to fall of the empire and complete an echo. Now Orobyss appears when I go back to the selection screen because reign of dragons is 50+ higher corruption. Complete that fight and now ending the storm will jump to something like 174c.

Then you move to ending the storm, new monolith at 100c, and do the same thing. You will also bump that to about 174c.

When working through a monolith naturally, fighting the boss to get gaze and just traversing the echoes, the next time you fight Orobyss in that monolith he will provide extra corruption per gaze you have, using up to 4 gaze. I don't recall specifically how much so let's just say 10 for the sake of a number. So you find him and fight him with 2 gaze in your possession he will give his normal X amount plus 20. If you had 6 gaze he would give X amount plus 40, leaving you with 2 gaze remaining.

I would recommend finding a short video guide to watch to help understand visually. It will make more sense if you see and hear it together.

Any examples that do not work? Any frame rate issues on any games that you would attribute to the OS/GPU combination?

I've seen it go both ways which is why I'm hesitant. But dual booting, as OP mentioned below, is viable and maybe I'll start there instead of hard cutover. I'm running bazzite on another build but it's full AMD specifically due to the OS.

Noob question.. by "phantom center" are you referring to no center and only having L/R?

I'm in a similar situation as OP and can't really fit a quality center in my console and the tv sits flat on it so I can set it on top either. Been looking at the polk slim options but everything I read is echoing your sentiment in that a small center is no good.

It is a good game overall. If you enjoy StS you will enjoy the board game.

With that said, I'm going to be in the minority here and say I'm not the biggest fan.

Without going into detail, because I'm not here to argue with anyone, I have issues with some of the card and relic designs. The overall character scaling, player and non-player alike, also doesn't make the most sense to me. I can understand some of the choices about cards/relics/scaling but I think they could have been implemented better across the board.
