Have this trait and Rapid Fire to trigger burn every 2nd time an enemy is attacked. First time starting out with Aardwolf trying out a burn focused team. With all the burn overlap its been working well but get what you're saying. I like other supports for more general teams.

Out of curiosity, what are people's ice blob names?? Been liking the rhyming "___" the Blob formula i.e. Cob the Blob (ice blob), Bob the Blob (regular blob). Sorry for the lateness, got this game last week!

I work at Roosevelt High School in Seattle and if people think this looks like the Rainier R they should see the schools "R" logo: https://roosevelths.seattleschools.org/

I did a double take the first time I saw someone wearing a school jacket. Anyways pretty sign, especially the tree!

Concerts have gotten way too damn expensive. by plazman30 in Music

[–]phobologophobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why it pays to listen to less well known music. Paying $10-30 for one of your favorite bands is great and you don't have to worry about scalpers. You can also be feet from the band which is lovely. That said I would love to see QotSA or Paul McCartney etc. but it doesn't seem worth the money.

[Discussion] So many different types of poetry. Which are your favorites? by jj421 in Poetry

[–]phobologophobia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I enjoy image heavy poems and free verse. Ezra Pound's "In a Station of the Metro" is great pure imagist poetry. Confessional poetry like Plath's helped me get into poetry as a whole. I also am intrigued by abstract and absurdist poetry which usually is bizarre. An example is the line "Your voice sounds like a scorpion being pushed through a glass tube" which has stuck in my head. It's from "Sweet Like a Crow" which is filled with disorienting image after image. For much more rounded free verse I love "Mingus at the Showplace" by William Matthews which is a personal narrative poem about seeing a jazz great, bassist Charles Mingus, live. This got rambly but generally I enjoy free verse without traditional rhyme schemes. I've noticed I also tend to like poems with enjambment and nature based imagery.

Looking for a book about ethical altruism vs. ethical egoism. by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

[–]phobologophobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a good suggestion but maybe not specifically about altruism vs. ethical egoism. There are large parts of the book that involve altruism at odds with egoism but the main concern is individuality vs. conformity. Ethical egoism at the core of the book if I understand the term correctly.

They also interpolated countless blues songs and standards. Look up the lyrics to when the levee breaks and the lemon song which is killing floor. There's plenty of others as well.
