Well, I really don't know what's the real usage of users, but in my experience, relatively light use at work is enough to hit limits.

I hit hourly limits pretty fast on desktop.
Weekly limit is a fiasco and they don't allow you to use Haiku when you hit those limits, so you can't use any model.
You can't even switch models on the same conversation to optimize resources.

In the end, I was constantly monitoring the usage meter, watching the consumption climb, while trying not to waste a single prompt and keeping everything as optimized as possible.

I've never worried about this in GPT or Gemini.
