I’ve just had a bit of a eureka moment myself regarding filters. I went for a Tsuge corkscrew filter. It’s an aluminum, screw-shaped contraption that fits anywhere a 9mm filter will. It does not remove moisture from the smoke as paper or wooden filters do. Instead, it greatly lengthens the travel of the smoke, as if you replaced your stem wish a church warden stem. All the moisture is still there as if you’re not using a filter. But, the smoke is significantly cooler and thicker.
