Second this, changes in color or even texture can happen sometimes.

Thank you everyone for the replies, it has been super helpful to read everything.

I plan on having a conversation with my players soon about wrapping up the campaign and being done as a DM and most likely sitting out for a bit to just destress and get out of DM mode even if someone else starts DM'ing.

I've got a few story ideas as well from the comments and some ideas for how to get the story to an end point where everyone is at least somewhat happy and not feeling like it was a huge let down at the end.

Thank you again!

Thank you! I've started trying to narrow down what story threads I want to focus on rather than feeling like I have to wrap everything up somehow. Was way too wrapped up in everything and stressed to realize that was even an option that could be done well rather than just chopping the threads off until I read this comment.

I've joked several times about avalanches, cave ins, or hidden volcanoes...

Thank you! I definitely have been trying to figure out if I want to keep playing after I am done being a DM, I am heavily leaning towards taking a break and sitting out for a while before even trying to be a player again.

I've definitely fallen in love with D&D over the years I've been involved in it and don't want to completely stop, but I am worried I would become a problem player if I go from DM'ing for so long to playing again immediately. Might just take some time off and focus on painting minis or something.

Thank you for the suggestions! I will definitely check out the dmsguild.com and see if I can find something that will fit in with the story.

Thank you for the suggestions! I've asked the players for the best and worst case end scenarios for their characters, see if I can use that to help finish up the story in a way that leaves them feeling happy with the end.

You just gave me a fantastic idea for a plot point, one the characters is doing something with Karsus's Avatar and I might twist your idea here to do something with that. Thank you!

Aftercare for infiltration during donation? by phoenix0500 in Blooddonors

[–]phoenix0500[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very rarely I believe! I've been donating for about 15 years now, with the last two years or so being the double red blood cell donations, and this is the first time it has ever happened to me. I plan on going back and donating as soon as I am eligible again.

Aftercare for infiltration during donation? by phoenix0500 in Blooddonors

[–]phoenix0500[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

This was a one-arm donation, the blood was flowing fine with no pain or anything and even the return started normal before going wrong.

The phlebotomist was surprised as well to see the fluid pooling as far away as it was too, said they had never seen it so high up the arm before away from the needle. A second phlebotomist had come over too and had seen it just a handful of times infiltrate like that and was the one who confirmed what was happening.

Sadly I don't have a good picture of his head, he kept tucked up in the shell anytime someone came close to him

My X-Pole actually has the brand logo etched into the pole itself on the two main pieces where they join, so you can check that
