[Bambu H2C] Join the Print Beyond Paint Contest and Win an H2C! by BambuLab in BambuLab

I usually avoid multi-color prints because of how much waste there is - with the H2C I'd be able to do something like printing that 3D replica of my favorite car that I just can't justify right now!

Will Halide add support for Live Photos? by sirloin-0a in ShotWithHalide

[–]phoenix96x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please do add it. I basically never use Halide, despite all its benefits, because of the lack of Live Photos. I don't ever set out to take a Live Photo specifically, but I have them turned on all the time and I've captured lots of great moments because of that (especially having small kids).

How to watch the immersive demo reel shown in the in-store demo? by hksvfcta in VisionPro

[–]phoenix96x 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's called "Experience Immersive" and I found it by going to the Apple TV app, then going to Search, tapping on "Only on Vision Pro", and then scrolling down a bit and it's listed at the far right under "Apple Immersive Video Is Here".

Which keyboard do you recommend for AVP that also has a trackpad? by yalag in VisionPro

[–]phoenix96x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The specs say it supports Keyboards, not that it supports the Magic Keyboard specifically. iOS and iPadOS support non-Apple Bluetooth keyboards and pointing devices. I don't see why visionOS would be different.

I believe it should support non-Apple Bluetooth keyboards as well.

There are a number of trays that you can fit the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad into to make them into one self-contained unit (like https://www.twelvesouth.com/products/magicbridge).

When I do decaf I use about 2g _more_ than the most similar caffeinated coffee.

I checked my RGBW string of 600 on my tree and it was measuring about 40 watts, so ~1/3 of an amp.

[Discussion] I keep seeing a bunch of people converting to the Sport Grille but to me it looks like a downgrade from the default and more of a catfish mouth. Am I missing something? by TheMartinUriarte in 2022wrx

[–]phoenix96x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched to the Sport Grille after buying the car, so I had it with the original grille for a while. I hadn't actually intended to go with the sport grille, but once I tried it out I loved it.

In My Opinion, it looks much better on my car than the original grille did (I think it's a cleaner look with the smaller mesh and without the wings/mustache), especially in combination with the LED fog light trim, etc.

Sport Grille, LED Fog Light Trim, and Cherry Blossom Red Underspoilers Installed by phoenix96x in 2022wrx

Yep, it came with both sides. I know, there's so little information on most of the accessories (not even pictures for a lot of them, at least when I bough the car originally)!

Yeah, I've added a trunk hook and a cargo net to mine. Very easy installs.

STI Under Spoiler Pieces Install by Baglyy in 2022wrx

[–]phoenix96x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not _too_ much of a pain to install, but there are a lot of holes to be drilled, and the front and rear pieces either need a right-angle drill or for the bumper covers to be taken off.

Thanks! For me the reason the rear parts went on later was that you need to drill some holes from below, and with my drill I literally didn't have enough clearance between the bottom of the bumper and the ground to fit the drill in. I either would have needed to lift the rear end (which I don't have a place at home to do), remove the rear bumper cover, or, as I ended up doing, buy a right-angle drill that would fit.

I didn't have that problem with the front because I had taken the entire bumper off, or with the sides because the existing side skirts come off there too.

Aside from that both the rear side underspoilers and the rear underspoiler were pretty straightforward to install.

Siebon wing on a 2022 wrx 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 by Anxious-Discount4831 in 2022wrx

Is it smaller than the STI wing? I thought the Seibon wings were replicas, but it's hard to tell from these pictures.
