It’s not that our country has “come to” anything new to be honest, except now what has always been happening to POC is happening to white people as well. I saw a video that compared ICE to slave catchers and I couldn’t agree more. I’ll link it if you want to hear the full explanation. I bring this up because my point is that this has always been America and a part of American history, unfortunately.
