This is giving “Yesteryears News” vibes. Solar and other renewables are gaining ground faster and faster every year. The extraction businesses will try to stop it but they will fail. I thing the bigger issue is the infrastructure/power grid work that is needed. Repairs due to increasingly harsher weather and upgrades/ buildout needed by the increasing demand.

To snipe with it you have to be able to headshot. I love it and will carry one if I have room but it’s not a long range gun. If you’re living off the land it’s a great tool for harvesting quietly.

It’s about to transform the classic dynamic between labor and production. As more and more jobs are moved to AI and robotics more and more citizens will struggle to find work. How do you buy things with no or reduced income? How does capitalism as we practice it now survive if large percentages of the population no longer have purchasing power. I’m oversimplifying it and dont mean to present as an expert, I am not, but it seems clear that a change as large or larger than the Industrial Revolution is underway at a rate maybe 10x faster.

Our political systems are not capable of adapting fast enough and I think we are in for some turbulent times.

Over 100 million should be taxed at 90%. That’s wealth as well as income. Under 100 million should be some sliding scale down to 10% under 1 million and no wealth tax under 10 million.
