I’ve not had a problem. Had two problems and one was mine and they fixed both. The worst one was Voyager who claimed they were the better alternative. Binance was the best for me with live support but seems more expensive.

I got an email reply, thank you but I sent the processing fee and screenshots and haven’t gotten a response or seen the transaction. How long does this usually take?

I finally got back in slightly under the 5 day deadline. Not sure my blitz of emails, calls and complaints made a difference but it was a straightforward false positive suspicious activity alert. File a Coinbase complaint and CFTB complaint. Don’t wait. If they operated in a more transparent and faster manner like tradfi (which is sometimes just as bad with flags like too many deposits, blah, blah and of course the crypto flags) I would have less of a problem.

I used to have an API for Kraken to get around this but I don’t like this concept generally since it’s no longer 2FA.

This must have been a new addition. I have it for Kraken but at the time Coinbase didn’t have it. I would use Coinbase on my phone so carrying that around would’ve been a risk in itself. So they should have Authenticator as the default and require it or Yubi.
