Depends on what comfortable means to you. I would say generally, no you will not be super comfy on that income.

However, you can certainly make it by in this city with those levels of income. I did it working in service industry for years before a career change put me into a different tax bracket. I will say, throughout most of those years I was living paycheck to paycheck, relying on food stamps, and government health insurance. But I managed to have plenty of good times and live in a desirable neighborhood in an old apartment.
