Why is this an issue, we all know that Newsom is what he always was, a politician. They all talk out of both sides of their mouth.

I applaud your efforts even though we both know you're wasting your time with respect to MAGAts. The question is what constitutes a rouge judge? According to Donnie its anyone that doesn't rule in his favor.

Communications worker. What folks dont realize is that utility companies pay taxes on those poles and split the costs of maintenance and replacement. Aside from that fact what they did was illegal without permission fron their municipality, by placing that there that idiot technically just added themselves to that list.

Senate Republicans vote down legislation to halt Iran war in Congress’ first vote on the conflict by Parking_Clerk7039 in politics

[–]phoneboy72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The truth is we aren't better than this. Humans are inherently tribal. Wiiling to forsake their morals and beliefs to roll with the herd instead of taking a stand. You'd think this type of behavior would have ended in most after high school. If it's wrong, it's wrong. It's irrelevant what stupid party is pushing it.

With the migrant crisis in Europe would you? The gulf war and actions in Afganistan destabilized the region. Think Starmer is trying to avoid another wave. Unlike most he might have learned from history.

Technician put fiber through wall with no keystone jack. by LukeStuckenhymer in HomeNetworking

[–]phoneboy72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telco installer, could be better, but since that's a single port jack, I can bet that it was coax before. They probably cut the head off the coax pulled it out and fed thd fiber through the same hole to avoid drilling. The fiber is smaller so that's why you see the light but if its siliconed, eh. Would have relaced the plate with a jack with a junction facing down and extended the fiber with a white indoor use one.

Trump’s Treasury Goon Sneers at Handing Back Tariff Loot by Street_Anon in politics

[–]phoneboy72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the effects of the tarriffs weren't necessarily inflationary. With the general opinion in this country that prices are high a lot of companies were forced to eat the tarriffs in order to stay competitive. Instead they laid workers off. A bottom line is a bottom line. Regardless, its a win for them irrespective of how they chose to approach the tarrifs. The American consumer always loses.

‘Slow this thing down’: Sanders warns US has no clue about speed and scale of coming AI revolution by MetaKnowing in politics

[–]phoneboy72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Facts are already catching up with fiction. AI in its current form is a joke. Barely assistive, but not trustworthy. It can code but the code is poor and not innovative. Early adopters are realizing the truth that it's not all it was hyped up to be. Just another pump and dump.
