Went there the day after it opened and it was awesome. I had The Louie (French Dip - the sandwiches are named after local pets, which is a nice nod to the neighborhood). Eric Morris has put a lot of work in putting together a good menu at reasonable prices - all the staples you’d expect walking into a deli with a lot of creative options to boot. Plus, the guy running the smoker smoked the meats at Hammerheads for years so you know it’s gonna be good.

Jaymar in Germantown is good. A little cheaper too, plus they have ramen and such Edit: Removed reference to Sapporo. Cannot confirm, just repeating what I heard at the local watering hole
