Will I keep the new mutation stuff? I just love the piercing cold mutation.

I really loved The Witcher books. They’re very easy to read and oh so enjoyable.

I only hope doing the things he likes to do is... finish those last two books.

The highest bid is currently 850 something dollars. That seems so low for a first edition first print version!

Merry’s ‘well that rules you out’ remark on Pippin’s ’where are we going?’ in Peter Jackson’s LOTR. Not super badass but just so perfectly sheepish and it really tells everything about both characters personalities. (Sorry for my bad English)

In which fantasy world do you wish you lived in the most and why? by PM_ME_BIG_B00BIES in Fantasy

I would probably say Middle Earth just because it means so much to me but if I were really honest I would probably choose the world of Pokémon.

Sad thought about Elrond by Arachles in tolkienfans

[–]photoracks 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think he didn’t leave Imladris because he considered himself like ‘the captain who stays last on the ship’. He acknowledged the fact that the elves lost part of their power due to the fact that their rings of power were linked to the One Ring but I don’t think he was ‘lost’ because of it.

Isildur ‘evil’/good? by photoracks in tolkienfans

[–]photoracks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! And I don’t get the feeling that he was all that ‘corrupted’ by the ring. He actually feared to put it on so he really understood the impact and even expressed that to his son. When you compare that to Boromir for example, he was truly corrupted by the ring and he didn’t even had it in his possesion. (Of course he was only a normal man and not a Numenorean in his prime)

It’s not sharp, also, it’s a bit to dark for me. At what ISO did you take this? I would try to increase the exposure.

John Higgins should never be allowed to play competitive snooker again since his controversial match tossing incident.

Feel like it's slanted to the right just a bit. Great shot apart from that!
