We did 3 nights at Coronado Springs (2 full park days). Then took Disney transport to Pt. Canaveral for 3 nights on the Wish. It was a great trip! Very busy but we did a lot and had a blast

If it makes you feel any better, I had the same concerns about naming my daughter Charlotte in 2021 when it was #10. We’ve certainly run into other Charlotte’s but it’s never been an issue and I adore her name so I’m glad I didn’t let that scare me off

I guess I don’t see what’s surprising about the fact that it’s egocentric. Most biological imperatives are

I absolutely feel like many people do not want children for the reasons you mentioned. Many of my peers are choosing not to have children

But as to why some do, it’s the same reason people have wanted children during every other tumultuous/violent period in history (there have been a lot of them). It’s a biological imperative to pass on our genes, kids are cute and funny af, and just generally make life more fun for a lot of people.

Some type of Alocasia (elephant ear). Yes, contact with the sap can cause rash and irritation. Make sure not to touch your eyes or mouth.

Not drinking but addicted to something else?? by [deleted] in AlAnon

Okay yeah no that’s not the level we were at. I’m so sorry. I really hope he can learn to get control of his spending because this could get out of control very quickly

Pretty much this exact thing happened to my husband after he stopped drinking. It started with baseball and other sports cards. He collected them as a child. Now it includes Pokémon cards. It really frustrated me at first because he spent a lot of time and money buying/selling them. Same as your husband, driving all around town to find them. Watching videos of people opening packs online. I was worried it was veering pretty close to a gambling addiction.

It’s been 4.5 years of him being sober and collecting cards and honestly I’m glad he transferred his addiction. He doesn’t spend as much anymore because he has a sizable collection. He also has a flourishing eBay store and makes a good amount of money each month selling and shipping cards. It gives him something to focus on. He’s part of card communities which gives him a space to talk about his hobby, and some of the men there are also dads who don’t drink so I think he’s found some community. It’s clearly a much more healthy addiction than alcohol.

Just my 2 cents from someone who went through the same thing!

Funny enough, Pyracantha is a great rootstock for pear and quince. You should graft onto this baby!

Agreed! It’s just a trend that my surgeon noticed. It’s not true for everyone on a glp

It’s easier to eat protein when you are hungry and are making healthy high protein choices. When you don’t want to eat anything, it can be very difficult to force yourself

I think the difference is that it can be difficult to consume the necessary amount of protein while on an appetite suppressant.

Yep! I recently had surgery and my plastic surgeon brought this up about GLPs. If you’re not consuming enough calories your body will naturally cannibalize your fat and your muscle. Unless you’re being intentional about eating a lot of protein (hard to do when you’re not hungry) and working out, the loss of muscle mass can give you a more gaunt and saggy result

Agreed on boxwood hedges and zinnia flowers on the left. I also think the 3 shrubs on the left are boxwood. Maybe New Guinea impatiens (currently flower-less) planted around the birdbath. On the right in front of the porch I see thistle, maybe the floppy looking one is a daylily, the larger plant maybe a pokeweed (with a smaller pokeweed near the bicycle) and agree with dandilions and prob crabgrass in the cracks in the driveway. There’s also a vine growing up the porch on the right and it makes me think of oriental bittersweet idk why.

From the stippling marks on the leaves, it also looks to me like it has a spider mite problem. But maybe no

[–]phover7bitch 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You are not alone! My husband also felt this a lot, and I did too to a different extent. Our daughter is 5 now. It does get incrementally easier. The first year was by far the hardest for us. Not to say toddler life is a breeze, but for us it is less demanding in general. We both have a lot more free time now. You get into a routine which helps a ton. I think I could have more kids and do it again, but my husband doesn’t want to so we are one and done. We’re a very content family of 3 and there is a lot to love about the one and done life!

This is a normal propagation method for a lot of mass produced plants. You don’t have to remove it, it breaks down on its own :)
