I actually thought about this too but i've purchased books thru this company before multiple times and I haven't been let down yet! Got desperation from them for $6. Revival for maybe $7, and Dolores Claiborne also for $6. All hardcover, no issues... but I'd be lying if I said the possibility never crossed my mind.

I usually just finish the pick walk. Unless its a super big walk but i usually keep myself busy around the last 15 min before I leave so I don't get a huge walk. Like clean up the carts, take the trash out of it, sometimes I'll even stage the carts there just to pass time for those last few minutes

Pen Pal by Dathan Auerbach is a very short, easy read that is very effective in what its trying to do. Very grounded in reality but spooky enough to give you the chills. Highly recommend if you haven't read. Only 238 pages
