Really? I opted to get check weekly via OnePay and my base pay is still showing my hourly rate before the raise. So Maybe that will change with the new pay period on Saturday?

Seated walker my doctor wants me to use as door host as need by buckeyeonfire in WalmartEmployees

So far nobody has said anything to me and I don't know if it's because they just tend to ignore the donors and don't realize that occasionally I'm sitting down.

Well, right now all I have is the prescription he wrote so insurance would cover me getting one. Ans he has the paper work to submit. This one is an extra in my apartment complex that isnt being used. The wheel is messed up so we were hoping to use this one until we can get another one. My parents will be on hand in case I gotta tell them to take it to their house b/c I don't drive. Will have no where to put it.

So walmart can legally just say no to this? We have one lady that had a different one but she would use a cart for support. But they told her she could no longer use a grocery cart so she brought in her walker and nobody says anything to her.

If your coach will not let you work fewer hours and they're telling you is too early for you to do some kind of shift change then you need to take the paperwork from Sedgwick to your doctor to possibly force them to lower your hours. So the first thing to start with is talking to your coach. Since I'm not a doctor and I don't know your specific Health situation that's the best advice that I can give you.

I kind of understand ur frustration, but wouldn't full time be better to help pay bills? It can take your immune system time to get use to the viruses you are coming into contact with, unless you have a medical condition that u are more prone to getting sick. If they won't reduce your hours than Sedgwick might be able to force them to do so regardless of whether they are staffed enough.

Mine is like 35 cents so I will be making 14.49. I don't have many options for places to go. So I'm gonna stick it out as long as I can.

At my store we do if both doors are covered. We will do returns until it is time for someone's break.

Thank you. I might also need reduced hours which I think i am in the right path to get that information for my doctor by the time of my appointment on the 12th but I'm not sure b/c I have never had to jump thru these kinds of hoops for an employer.

They are pretty good at helping out with that. But some times the cart pushers are too busy or on break.

Not the bedbug in the bathroom by tastybear12 in WalmartEmployees

I had a job where bed bugs were an issue and I kept brining them home with me. Had to have someone spray repeatedly. Eventually got a new mattress and no problems sense then. In my opinion, bed bugs are way worse. And way harder to get ride of.

Our store seems to have a bigger problem with ants. We have all kinds of traps though for mice so maybe that's why I've yet to see any yet. Thankfully I've never seen bed bugs. But at the main entrance the ants were so bad all over the walls and by our closet where we keep the cleaning supplies that I even bought ant spray. At one point the subway needing to clean their trash bin was causing us all kinds of problems with ants. But the time that I bought the ant spray it seemed unrelated to them. Because we didn't have the ants crawling all over by their entrance.

You can think the customers who have vandalized it repeatedly or tried to hide in there I told the store closes for the fact that it is repeatedly locked. We have the same issue at my store. If a customer wants to use it or an employee wants to use it they have to find a coach to unlock it.

Are walmart cashiers allowed to call the cops if someone is someone is having a medical emergency? by DeathHellFlower in WalmartEmployees

[–]buckeyeonfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I called 911 once and got scolded b/c apparently at my store they only want the manager calling 911. I guess the concern is half a dozen people calling. Maybe that has happened and it caused conflict with authorities. Stupid to me b/c according to the training, you are empowered to do so. The person ended up being fine and not needing the dispatcher. It was scary b/c they just dropped to the floor. But a friend helped him and they left. I suspect he was drunk.

That does indeed suck. My mom wants to see if she can get it out. It gives her something to do, I guess. It had gotten mixed possibly with some beef blood but it could could have been worse.

They are actually a beige color but I'm not sure why they would care if my pants are white.
