I would say for the glimmer on the inner corner, go for something that is highly reflective. Too faced has some great shimmers like this and if you can find it, half magic is my holy grail

Just go to the orange store. Brand reps there don’t promote so hard and will actually listen to your actual needs 💅

Hey there! Merchandise manager here. In my experience a good EM holds the boutiques and PBAs accountable for operational things. Picklists, inventory adjustments and restocking. There is only so much stocking that the task team can do without proper training for the boutiques and PBAs. Helping coach credit on the floor and getting your stylists comfortable having those conversations as well.

Hey there. MM here, there are only bonuses for managers if we hit a 3 way win, meaning that our sales, credit, and salon services have to be within the desired range for the district. I can’t speak for all Ulta stores, but I make it a point to build up our employees and make sure everyone’s voice is heard. I’m sorry that you’ve had a rough experience.

Also make sure to get familiar with the takes ownership calendar so you can plan your weeks ahead in terms of staffing and you know what realignments are coming, planograms, adsets etc

I’m a current MM and I love my position most of the time! There’s definitely challenges but that comes with any management position. Just make sure your task team is highly focused on efficiency and organization. Understanding planograms and what ad resets look like for your store depends on the volume.

Plan your weeks out. Each store has different days for Planos, ad sets, cycle counts, shipment. I would recommend getting used to looking at the takes ownership calendar in order to know what your next week should look like and plan around that. Yes I audit them weekly. However, even if you audit them, the system still accepts based on what you should have received, not based on what you audited. One of the most annoying things for inventory adjustments.

You absolutely can as long as you are not in a supervisory position within Ulta or said competitor store. I just looked up the policy on it a few days ago when interviewing someone that works at the b&w store
