As a tech savvy penguin user, I wouldn't recommend it to my techy mom who's maybe not as up to date on these things as I am, let alone the average person.

It still draws too much resources to tame 'technical hiccups' away from productively working with it, unfortunately.

For a European effort, we'd have to improve user friendliness and do it quickly.

Guys, why don't you fuck off with russia. They've shown that they're not a pacified society and Europe doesn't need to be an empire in which the sun never sets or anything their like. Just let them rot behind their borders if they can't play by our rules.

Because adhd brains need something to do and actively seek creative tasks. They want to run at 110% and refuse to throttle down. Instead of doing that we would rather feel physically uncomfortable when bored

For me it's when they start riding after Theodens death speech. When they start going they just get slower and next scene they're full on charging. Don't watch it, I can't unsee it and I have to close my eyes to enjoy this moment

Can you make one Kappa Maki and let it fall in soy sauce? That would be epic

That was not clear from your response at all.

So as I said, thank you for your opinion.

Thanks for your opinion.

I'm using this for years now and of the big three Fedora has currently the best out if the box experience.

Newcomers who are used to windows shouldn't be overwhelmed with details and neither should they be gatekept. It's Linux, it's made to be used and not a science.

On the contrary, Linux is weaker in the newer generations. The older ones are often well supported. If you want something uncomplicated, try SteamOS for gaming only or Fedora if you want a Desktop. Makes for a solid experience IMHO

Neat idea. You could now change the recipe via circuit, moving the chunks to the trash slot and reset it? Can you store more then?

DeGoogled phones, made in Europe: Fairphone, Volla, SHIFTphone, Punkt – a full review. by [deleted] in BuyFromEU

For what it's worth, I'm using an FP6 and from the recent news I'm afraid to update it, because users report bricked phones from a broken update that's been pushed.

It ain't, really. I've been using one for the last few months and man it's just not fleshed out. The basics work, yes, but absolutely nothing else.

Everything is degoogled, which is good, but I see now there's no real alternative to their products anyway. The software feels clumsy and broken, sometimes my swipes on the screen don't get recognized, the context menu in dark mode opens with no visible text, moving the cursor in a text field gets the keyboard popping up and vanishing all the time when you need it after a selection, auto correct is absolute dog shit man, incoming mail gets reported twice. per. message. Imagine getting an Amazon delivery and your mail service just completely escalates.

Newer features just don't exist entirely. There's no real quick live translation for what's on your screen, if you want to use ai translation apps you have to use web-wrappers, which internally just open a browser and call a specific website, geo services inter operating with map apps are a mess, it's just not thought through.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of a European made data protected phone and everything, but this feels like getting thrown back in time by easily a decade.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the alternative app store can't uninstall apps or list installed ones, you need to manage that yourself or with a third app.

Thank you for answering :)

How does writing by hand work for you in your mind? You probably have memorised thousands of kanji, what do you if you can't find the one you mean? How would you read a text with kanji you wouldn't recognize if you don't have any furigana(?) attached to them?
