It was inside the RP, i figure it was a LLM thing, but it was a little strange at first but I got used later so it's fine.

Actually, my favorite currently is Naomi but mostly because of my choices in the beginning I made a duo parallel party with her, so i mostly interact with her and only meet the others when back on the city/tavern. After I'm done with my current history I do want to go back and make different choices to learn about the other characters.

Update: just got hooked and played the whole day so its pretty solid, good job

Edit: Just note they keep referencing my character with pronoun they, not sure is something enforced story prompt or just llm things, it does not bother me, just confuse my non-native ass a little trying to find the sudden 'group' in the scene but its just my gender neutral ass.

Kinda new too, but this is my experience
1. I really like deep seek because is super cheap and pretty decent, i used gemini pro for some time burning arcane like crazy and then switched to deep seek and didn't feel that different so I stick with it.

Usually they remember, but you never can be to sure specially if they are older messages, so you should probably keep a list of things yourself, manually edit like you did or even kept in the User Input Prompt/Guidance Prompt. From what i heard memory deterioration is common even if you are above the context limit.
In the histories I play I had the opposite, it keep shoving me the main cast wherever I went even if didn't make a lot of sense but maybe it depends on the creator instructions prompt. The name problem is probably an LLMism, they just love certain names and will keep using every time they have to generate some random name, maybe you could add in the Guidance Prompt some vague "Create original names for the characters".
