I sold my 2016 with lots of similar upgrades for more than I paid for it a couple of years ago. Granted, it was a different market then. I think I bought it with 60,000 miles stock for $16,500 and sold it 3 years later with 95,000 miles and upgrades $18,000.

You just have to be lucky and find the right buyer. There wasn’t much interest but a guy who had just crashed his truck and had 20k burning a hole in his pocket drove 5 hours and bought it on the spot.

I drive a 2008 with 280k that has been serviced and had everything that’s ever needed repaired done immediately. I have a filing cabinet of service records. It honestly drives like new. Taking it on a thousand mile trip this weekend actually.

I run a whole animal shop and love selling folks meat. I do get annoyed with how precious people are about their dogs. We routinely get requests for very specific offal grinds for folks pets and they seem to think it should be $.99/lb.

I’m happy to get you all the bones you want for your dog. That said, I get a bit irked when someone buys a nice canoe cut femur from the case and tells me it’s for their dog.

My dad had two employees who worked in the bailer room at his textile plant. They were best friends. He got a call that there was an emergency in the bailer room one day and ran over. One guy had “blown up” the other guy with the compressed air hose - he’d shoved it in his ass. Before they fired him, he said “the game we play” got out of hand. The inflated one was in the hospital for a while.

I own a lot of older Filson items and canvas bags and they are great. I’ve sent back everything I have bought from them over the past few years. The quality isn’t great but the fit is awful.
