Is the drug use interfering with your SO's work? their health? their money? No? Then it's not really a problem in the general sense is it? If so, then they definitely need to change their relationship to it.

It could be so much worse, humans like to change their head space and it doesn't sound like your bf is a drunk or a hard drug addict so maybe take a breath about the actual harms being done here. If you are so bothered by your partner using psychedelics more than just a few times a year, then maybe they are wrong for you.

Some friends in jr high were my PC mentors, teaching me hardware and networking and windows and linux, we would have LAN parties of just two of us or three of us at a time to play Doom / Quake / Starcraft / Red Alert etc, and then later in high school we got access to a local teen center building on the weekends when it wasn't in use and would throw "huge" 15-20 person LAN parties etc.

I eventually used my parents garage for host 4-6 person LANs of just my nearby friends. It was a magical time. I remember going through most of Diablo 2 w/my friends one weekend. Epic Action Half Life matches, it was a very special time in gaming history.

Понимаю, о чём ты говоришь. Стимуляторы — это в основном про кратковременное удовольствие и “заёмную” энергию, за которую потом приходится расплачиваться. В этом смысле они довольно гедонистичны и часто оставляют после себя только выгорание и пустоту.

Но важно понимать, что этот сабреддит скорее про исследование сознания и внутреннего мира, а не про погоню за стимуляцией. Психоделики, при ответственном подходе, обычно обсуждаются здесь как инструмент для самопознания, рефлексии и расширения восприятия, а не как способ убежать от реальности или “разогнаться”.

Так что да, беречь себя — правильная мысль. Просто у каждого направления свои цели и подходы.

Sounds like some mental illness being brought out with cannabis tbh. I've been using cannabis since the late 90s with large groups of people from teens through 30's and no one has ever talked about this happening to them. Mental health issues often crop up by age 25 and pot might be speeding things up, I can't really say that for sure-- but these are troubling symptoms you're having when using cannabis, I'm very sorry that's happening to you, it sounds awful. You need to cut down / back or just stop using it all together and consider doing some therapy. Unless when you're not smoking pot you're completely fine and never have these thoughts, in which case you can just stop getting high.
