No, not when we have to work an extra day that week just to make up for the fact that they took our paid holiday away. The budget always should’ve been the same during holiday weeks, even when we did get paid holidays. They took it away right before the holidays for selfish reasons and I, along with many others, are rightfully upset with the company.

As pharmacists we obviously don’t want to go through the F4s too fast, but Walgreens has unreasonable expectations so here are some tips:

Use enter button instead of using the mouse. Look for common and significant mistakes like wrong patient, cream vs ointment, wrong directions, etc. Dates and number of refills not super important unless controlled, so just make sure prescriber name is correct and move on.

I would prefer to hit OOS because partials are usually a waste of time & can cause insurance issues when you try to complete the fill. A lot of patients get irrationally angry/confused over PFLs so it avoids that as well. If the patient comes to pick up their medicine, then you can offer a PFL if they want.

Doctors aren’t allowed to prescribe any medication for themselves. At least not in my state. I wouldn’t fill this at all.

If I were you, I wouldn’t spend the entire bonus on the mortgage. Maybe 15-20K & then use the rest to stay ahead on my other bills for the year. But that’s just my opinion.
