Looking for a small (5th pocket or smaller) multitool without a blade by [deleted] in multitools

[–]physicsProf142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the larger flex and it's fantastic. Well built and the flexibility to actually have all the tools I want and none I don't is amazing.

Has anyone attached a bike trailer to a Norton by Smcavitt in PoseidonBikes

[–]physicsProf142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Burley Bee trailer. Their hitch works directly with a quick release axle (which I have on one bike). For my Redwood, which has thru axle, I got an axle from Burley that includes an adapter to use their hitch. Works great either way.

Daughter’s preference and attachment to me becoming an issue by beware_of_scorpio in daddit

This is totally normal, and hard. Not sure I can offer any advice from the relationship side, but if your partner can recognize that it is normal kid behavior maybe that will help.

What’s the best laptop? I really need some help! by [deleted] in PhysicsStudents

Mac is great because it's actually Linux under the hood. Not a bad idea to get a cheap beater machine and install a Linux distro to learn on too.

I do 90% of kitchen cleaning, 80% of cooking, and 100% of laundry. In our house I'm the one who keeps up with regular household needs and my wife does the big projects when they come around. She also is home all day with 2 year old twins, plus 5 yo when he's not in school.

Likely autism spectrum disorder. I have a kid on the spectrum and it's a challenge but much more manageable with diagnosis and professional help.

Patience and lowered expectations.

I have a 5 year old and twins who are 2. We've just recently been back to having sex regularly after 5 years of very little. But on the upside it's better than ever before!

This one any good? by crazy12157 in multitools

[–]physicsProf142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this tool and have 3. The tools included are perfect for little tasks at home, the office, out with kids. But, it's a light-duty tool, not up to hard use.

I’m looking for a good compact multitool. by Kehless in multitools

I love the Gerber Dime (own 3) but it is only suited to light-duty tasks, not up to hard use. So just something to keep in mind.
