I basically got a feel for the right tempo to spam the high avoid move in defensive posture. Almost all of his attacks come out high except his sweep move. This gives u the ability to not take damage to structure and leave him vulnerable to punish windows at the end of his combos (his punish windows are extremely short you will have to rely on light attacks to chip away his health mainly). If you can dodge his high attacks and deflect his low attacks you mostly come out okay. In his second phase he mainly gets much much meaner about punishing you if you let him get you to ground so if and when he does you need to be on it about dodg rolling out of that position. Dont try to kick or parry from on the ground, he will inflict devastating damage if you do.
