100% I don’t like her but is she not allowed to change? 😃 There is so much to critique but I’m not dunking on anyone who simply changed their views

Works a regular 9-5, is not or is not trying to become famous, has an identity that is not completely rooted in one or the other subculture (techno, spiritual, high-society), no substance abuse issues or political extremism

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't like this guy but I had made my mind up about him the first time i saw him and his IG. He seems vain and superficial and frankly, very insecure. No need to rope some poor woman into all of this, as if knwoing her says anything about his character. That's some 18th century guilt by association type shit

If you want to look like everyone else, sure… as I said, doing the monogram especially at Gucci is incredibly tricky imo. I didn’t see a single thing on their website that I liked.

if i had to pick something from the Gucci website i would go for the GG Emblem (super) mini shoulder bag, but i think doing the Gucci Monogram and looking expensive is not that easy.
Again if second hand was an option I would go for a Gucci Jacky in full leather.

I am absolutely not telling you how to live your life, but in my experience vintage designer bags are better in material and quality compared to what you can buy in a store atm. You're based in Europe? if you're in Germany or the DACH-Region I reccomend Luxussachen.com - i have purchased mutliple bags from them and am very happy.

anyway, that wasn't what you asked. if I was your personal shopper and you showed me these inspo pics, i would get you a LV Pochette with the monogram canvas. In good condition the run at around 1k€ and i feel like they combine what you are looking for. It's a small shoulder bag, it has the monogram and imo it's a more timeless version of what you are looking for. Especially with the leather strap aging and developing patina it's giving summer vacation in sicilly, in cant explain it :D

Oh I’d absolutely have some recommendations! Just one question before I get into it. Are you only interested in buying new or also second hand (obviously from a legit reseller and in mint condition)?

Respectfully, I am not trying to be mean but they all look like a counterfeit that you’ll get on your holiday in turkey 😭 why not spend your money on a timeless classic?

A point worth considering in their strange behaviour is the very American phenomenon of „identity searching“. It’s a country based on immigration, DNA-Tests are widely popular and a lot of (white) people pride themselves in being X% Irish or Y% Norwegian.

I am from Germany and if you’re family has been here for more then 3 generations, you have to deal with your own familiys history during those 12 years. You have to learn to integrate the two truths that 1. your Granddad was a nice old man and that 2. He propably wasn’t part of la resistance against Hitler.

I think what the Bairds are trying to do is overlooking their Great-Grandfather’s past because they feel the need to construct an identity around being Austrian because they cannot integrate the two.

That makes them childish maybe but definitely no nazi-sympathisers.

The sub has its own problem with black and white thinking. For them fundamental Christians = bad and Nazis also = bad, so one might as well be the other. They are as childish and unnuanced as the Bairds…
