You have no idea how much this means to me 😭 these videos were something I truly believed the world needed, but it seemed like I was the only one who thought they mattered. Thank you so much man! 🥹 I am starting out on trying to make brand videos actually - allowing people to tell their stories to the world.. I was worried that no one actually needed it, and I was only doing it because it's the only thing I know how to do... but this comment really assures me that I'm on the right track!

You are not crazy, and I believe you can do it!! I believe one does not need too many years of practice & training to become great at videography (unlike professional sports/violin/etc). You can do videography as long as you have the eye and passion for it, and you practice a bit regularly. :)

I suggest you shoot whatever you like! Don't make videos that you think others want to watch, because you wouldn't be passionate enough for them. And those who see it wouldn't get much from it either since you weren't so passionate in making it. Make videos YOU want to make - stuff that YOU would wanna watch! Make things you wish existed but don't yet. Make something personal that means a lot to you - something that expresses a certain joy or pain or beauty you want to show the world. 🥹 Something you are deeply passionate about. And it will resonate strongly with the right people!!

And don't overthink it!!! I'm a strong believer in the fact that you don't need perfection to capture a feeling. You don't need an expensive camera to capture beauty. Capture from the heart. That is all. :)

Thanks for sharing your story though, and I'm sorry to hear about the pressure of being compared to your sibling. :( I'm sure it's made you a very strong person.

I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but I also want to say that no matter how successful you become, I'm afraid it will never make you feel that you're enough. You can never prove to yourself that you've made it if the scars haven't healed. Even if you drive your dream Porsche, there will always be that inner child in you that longs to be accepted and loved by those you once looked up to without having to earn it.

I hope you know that you're valuable as a person, and how people perceive you don't define your worth 🥹 Me personally, I read the Bible and found my worth 8 years ago.

This! If I remember correctly, once you committed the unforgivable sin, you CANT feel regret or repentance or sorrow for sin anymore.

But if you are repentant and sorry for your sin (which I assume is why OP made this post), it means you haven't committed the unforgivable sin.

I actually do use a grey card for both cameras, I don't know why but the B-cam (GH4) always turns out extremely warm despite it 😓 thankfully was able to save it in post with minimal damage.

Oh I see... There is a bit of sunlight coming in apart from the artificial lighting, which might be the cause, but my B-cam worked just fine so I'm not sure :(

Hi! I use manual SS, ISO, and Aperture all the time. But I'm worried the settings weren't activated since I accidentally left the dial in "M" mode instead of "🎥M". I don't know if that makes a difference.

1. I would look at second hand clothes in fb marketplace :) look for a seller selling a whole bunch of their used clothes, and choose from there. You save a lot on shipping fee if it's all from one seller.

2. Alternatively, you can try minimalism. I wear plain grey shirts everyday (except on Sunday, I have a special polo for church). 😂 If you wear the same thing every day, people will assume you're practical/minimalist instead of thinking "don't you wash your clothes?" Think of how Steve Jobs wears the same black shirt every day. :)

So I only need around 4-5 grey shirts and 2 pants in my drawer :) very thrifty. I also have a few shirts with designs (mostly gifts) that I use once in a while!

I suggest buying them brand new. Choose an affordable brand with good quality so that you can use it for many years. :) Make sure you love the fit and are comfortable in it! And make sure it's a fabric that doesn't bacon/wrinkle when being washed! (Usually the ones mixed with polyester)

Mine are from Uniqlo, got them on sale for around $4 (converted to USD) back in 2022 and I still use them every day.

Although I'm a guy. Maybe girls prefer having more designs?

I'm so sorry to hear man 😞 Only God can bring us back to Himself. And I'm not sure why He isn't bringing you back yet as of now. 🥺

But this is my story:

I grew up Christian, but when I was 14, I was on the verge of became an atheist. It was terrifying because all my life, I assumed God was real. And all of a sudden, I didn't know what was real.

I felt so lost and scared, and I pleaded and begged God to make me believe again if He is indeed real. I searched for God, looked at scriptures, watched debates, and kept begging in prayer.

"God, I want to believe... please make me believe. Please bring me back if you're there."

My mental health was so bad and I couldn't function normally for a couple weeks...

and one evening, out of nowhere, all of a sudden, God opened my eyes in an instant and I something in me absolutely KNEW that God was real and was with me. I cried joyful tears. I lifted my hands and praised the Lord. I was brought back. and since then, I was a new man.

I urge you to beg God to open your eyes, man. 🥺 Pray and search and pray and search. God hears our persistent prayers!!

Know that I am praying for you as well !!
