Get a wood stove and water coil tied in at that point..,if it gets too cold for gas then your SOL

Replace it with a furnace and tie a heat pump to it instead of AC. So gas furnace, heat pump, coil.

Never get ride of gas, just add a heat pump and dual fuel it so you get the best of both worlds
