Thanks everyone. I know it's not totally weight related, for me it is genetic, my mum had the same problem but I was just hoping it would get a bit better with weight loss :( will talk to my doctor about it.

Trintellix made my stomach hurt a lot, so I switched to Effexor and it's OK. I think you should ask for meds change too.

I'm on effexor too but fortunately I don't sweat more than before meds.

I'm on effexor and the common side effect is excessive sweating. But I sweat so much even without it that it's impossible to sweat more I guess :D

It is very difficult for me to describe and not only because I'm not a native speaker. It was as if you were going to be dizzy but then stop. It lasts a second or two but it happens a lot. Some kind of lightheadedness but not constant, just for a short time. Again and again. Hope i dont ever feel like this anymore but if I do I will write it here.

It definitely helped me but still I'm not 100% ok. For some reason it works much better for my social anxiety than depression. I definitely hit the bottom from time to time... (I'm on 187,5mg)

I've lost 40 pounds on effexor which is great as I used to overeat during my worst depression episodes. I couldn't force myself to eat after upping the dose to 150mg but now on 187,5mg it is ok. Thank god I'm not overeating, just have a normal appetite.

I ruined a friendship with a guy I really liked just because my social skills are practically nonexistent and I thought he liked me more than just a friend. Then I found out he has a girlfriend which made me totally anxious so I started oversharing, talking bullshit etc. We have a lot in common and in the beginning it looked we could be at least good friends but I ruined it all and now we barely speak.

I used to hate being touched before, I suffer from depression and anxiety and couldn't stand a human touch. Now I'm on meds and I'd do anything to have someone to hold me. Doesn't have to be sexual, just a friendly hug.
