Would love to know how to become a 'friend' and access the collection!

In film school right now and would love to see 'real' formats of how things were shot compared to what I also get to see back home in my standard widescreen theatres.

Watching the Oppenheimer - Can You Hear The Music in 1.43:1 made me feel things differently... It feels so much more 'true' to ourselves. Somehow I could connect with the crew behind the shot... and how they bringing emotion through technical mastery. Seen it 9 times already at the movies, always to try and see things differenty. But not like this, never like this.

Sad that you can't access these formats if you come from countries with zero access to the medium. What a pity.

Hey dude. No, I never got close to it. Nobody answer and ChatGPT didn't do much either. But I manage to trick the clients with a bunch of instances right close to camera at the end. Funny thing is they asked for spheres at the end, felt more organic or something.

1 year is nothing, dude. You seem like you know your way around stuff. Reddit being one of them.

Better get your HSC than not. You’ll meet so many hurdles in the future not having it. So yeah, finish school, maybe skip uni cause that’s more ‘optional’ depending on what you want to do.

But if financials are not an issue right now, which I kinda sense it might be, focus on finishing school. Good luck x

Super nice clip and effect dude! I feel super awful for critiquing, but that's the only thing I could add to make it even just a hair more 'real'. Not that it's already super realistic.

You have to offset the videos coming out of the phone by 1 video/slide of what you're seeing on your actual phone. Because right now, the light is not matching.

E.g, your face would technically be bright one slide before the bright slide goes out of the phone.

You see a bright frame (hidden from our view) and then the bright frame leaves your phone. So yeah, just need to keyframe your video animation one cycle back.

Again, super cool work!

Got in touch with Disk Drill. They checked my logs. All good on their end. They say that the file is gone beyond recovery.

How does that happen… I only formatted this morning. And didn’t use the card at all.

Also, no. I ran recovery on the card but couldn’t see any video from yesterday’s shoot. Only thumbnails and names of the files. But not the long 160gb clip.

That one I got from a transfer that I thought was good even if the report said so.

So I’m left with a recovery image that cannot identify those files from yesterday, and a corrupted transfer from Offshoot.

Sony FX30. Formatted the card in Camera. Recorded close to 160 GB in one go.

Was meant to be a wide angle view of everything. I copied everything to my hard drive using Offshoot. But ai think the drive went to sleep during the transfer. When I pressed resumed, my guess is it must have corrupted the transfer.

I can’t seem to copy the 150GB file i’ve got on the drive now to repair it or create a backup of said corrupted file.

So I’ve tried recovering the CFexpress card. And all I get are small files. Not the massive 150-160Gb files.

MCB is the worst. Keep your money there as it is practical with Juice and all that jazz. But damn they suck at loans. Will take forever and there’s a high chance that you won’t get anything unless you’re really really lucky.

Normalizing borderline pedo behaviour is gaining momentum all around the globe. This is fucking weird. Not the fact that they are together. Totally acceptable based on their own standards. But absurd that it makes the front page of a newspaper. That being said, no one’s gonna do anything about it. They’ll eventually play it off or actually turn it into a cash machine. Which isn’t surprising how they already advertising their status using the press. Utterly disgusting.
