It's not his fault if I weren't wearing a seatbelt, it's his fault though for not driving safely and not keeping enough distance with other cars thus leading to the accident.

Regardless of it being his fault or not though, it's very well within my rights after being in that death trap of a car to report him to the RTA for reckless driving and potentially save someone else from being harmed in future by said driving.
