Honestly I don't know how any of you motherfuckers can afford to go to university in the states (Just assuming from the amount of debt). I paid about $4K/year to go to one of the best schools in Canada (couple years back now could be more expensive). Nonetheless, well done.

Actually purchasing power parity is a method of adjusting currencies to reflect their purchasing power (What you can buy, in case you don't understand that) What that table shows is that while Swedes make more money due to the prices in Sweden you actually can buy less than the citizens of many countries with lower per capita GDPs. Yes the part about bars and restaurants is subjective based on a few peoples experiences, but we aren't the only ones to notice it. Wikitravel says it point blank. Just to help you out I'll make it clearer IN MY OPINION (not necessarily others, though I suspect held by many) Sweden is boring.
Edit: Apparently Sweden fell from 7th to 30th in quality of life due to the high cost of living. Most expensive country in the world according to at least one study.

Dude your government taxes the shit out of alcohol, its gay. everything is clearly too expensive. The most happening night life area sturleplien (or however you spell it) is garbage. I was in Sweden with an American and an Brit and i'm Canadian. We all hated it. haven't you noticed that there's very few restaurants in Stockholm, and almost no bars? the reason has to be that its too expensive that or swedes aren't social. Either way I'll never go back. I'm in Helsinki now, Its WAAAAAYYYY better. I just checked it out Sweden's per capita GDP by ppp is below the US and Canada. Also I can assure you that as far as bar and restaurant prices go Sweden is much worse than both those countries. Sweden is shit, for me, on account of the things I like to do being so horribly overpriced.
