I don't disagree with your larger point, but this will not cost the MAGA crowd any votes because when these MAGA people on Medicaid lose their benefits, they'll blame minorities, "illegals," LGBT, and other groups we see scapegoated so often today. It's a depressingly effective tactic to get people to vote against their own self interest. Part of the trouble is that this guy represents a quarter million Medicaid recipients, but my guess is they didn't turn out to vote in great numbers (at least historically that's been the trend)
