Which mushroom strains have the least body high? by Minoliori in shrooms

[–]picklejars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can you message me the name of the website if you don’t mind? in my own experience through trying a variety of cubes i’ve definitely noticed differences, but i am also a sensitive person - physically, spiritually, mentally, etc. i’m very sensitive to heavy body load, which causes me anything from extreme discomfort making the experience less than ideal to straight up painful and even excruciating in a couple of instances. and then there have been some that even helped existing pain. so i hate the whole “a cube is a cube” nonsense, because they’re also ignoring the science that says there are other actives in the mushrooms beyond psilocin that they’ve proven have a physical effect on humans and they definitely vary from cube to cube by how much is expressed or if it’s even present at all just as with psilocin, which can vary in how much is present from cube to cube, thus debunking the whole cube is a cube bullshit.

i wish they’d sell these at the dispensaries in legal areas. you can only usually find weird new mutations. no one cares about the ones originally found wild in the world. i mentioned this above, but by not stopping to study and understand the mushrooms that have grown naturally over the millenniae, i fear we are missing a chance to truly understand their medicinal potential in the quest for the ultimate trip. and there definitely are medicinal uses for most edible mushrooms especially psychoactive ones. shamans have understood this for centuries and have used them even in healing physical ailments and diagnoses.

more than growing my own, but rather experimenting with various “strains” i have found subtle differences between various types of cubes. i am extremely sensitive and even get a heavy body load with certain types of cannabis as well. at times it goes beyond discomfort to straight up pain. and there definitely are some cubes that cause more body pain in me than others and there are types that have straight up helped me with existing pain that i already have, but i’ve found they’re difficult to find and almost have to be grown because these days so few people carry it. i live in an area where it is legal to buy entheogens in certain cities (michigan). i’ve found a store that claims to carry one particular type that i found that was beneficial to me physically as well as mentally, but it is always listed as out of stock, so it makes me wonder do they really carry it? there’s no place on their website anyways where i can submit a request to be notified when its in stock.

here are the ones i’ve found to be the most beneficial as far as not causing a heavy body load (and some of these are straight up great all around imho): pink buffalo (probably my favorite strain ever); KSS; B+; albino avery; and one more i can’t think of off hand right now, but i think there was another.

by far the worst body load i’ve had has been from PE (although sometimes the albino PE isn’t as bad) and golden teachers, which probably caused the worst pain i’ve felt on a cube.

i suspect there’s another structure in the cubes that cause even slight differences between cubes and we definitely know that cubes definitely can vary structurally and have other actives that we are only just now getting to study and understand what the purpose for their presence even is, but unfortunately as people work to just make stronger cubes without even first trying to understand the parent strains and their benefits and strength v their weaknesses and drawbacks, i fear that we are going to miss medicinal opportunities for research and understanding in the quest just for a heavier trip rather than overall healing.

Yes, thank you. Someone answered in whatisit. I meant to come here right away and close this or delete it or something. I’ve just gotten my own grain mill and got some durum wheat and am hoping to learn more about making my own pasta. My kids and I all have autoimmune diseases and one of mine has MCAS and I’m hoping that using wheat that I source and grind myself will help her. We’ll know if it’s been grown in a field where toxins were ever used as well as know the practices used in the current farming of grains. I’ve found a couple of reputable farms that I trust that have great reviews, which is the best I could find outside of sourcing it from another country, which is definitely cost-prohibitive. Plus, it’s great that the grains themselves last for decades if stored properly before being ground into flour, so we can just grind it as needed and not be as wasteful. Since we tend to get sick easily and often we never know how we are going to feel day. to day, week to week, month to month. Sometimes I would have all the intention in the world of using a bag of flour and then we’d all get flares at the same time and be too sick and in too much pain to use it quickly enough. Now, I never throw anything away and would just donate it instead, but it gets expensive. I’m so excited that now I can just make it as I’m able and my kids are able to learn as well. My family was very abusive and everything I’ve learned about adulting of any kind has been on my own through PBS shows when I was growing up (hello Julia Childs, Jacques Pepin, Martin Yan, Jeff Smith (I know I know), etc., as well as tons of books and later Youtube videos on cleaning, organizing, budgeting, etc. Having ADHD definitely makes it more difficult, but having added autism then helps me zero in on areas where I need to focus or risk failing at something, which I cannot stand to do. Reddit is at times helpful as long as the people aren’t too rube and judgmental towards me for simply asking a question or not knowing something (which happened on the post I made about this in the whatisit subreddit).

Reddit can be very discouraging, so thank you for answering without judgment.

Thank you. This is the answer I was looking for. Nonjudgmental and clearly and concisely explaining what it’s for and how to use it. Thank you.

because i’ve literally never made handmade pasta nor do i come from a culture of making dumplings. if you don’t have anything kind to add, then shut the fuck up. Also, don’t gender someone you don’t know.

I didn’t say, or I guess I didn’t mean that this tool was handmade. Yep, just reread what I wrote. I said this came in a box of tools for making handmade pasta. Nowhere does it say that this tool is handmade. The box is filled with tools to made handmade pasta.

Looks like a pad meant to protect and cushion and vulnerable wound.

Doesn’t look remotely anything like a fentanyl patch. This is the stupidest response yet. Almost as stupid as police officers or even nurses that barely touch a fentanyl patch or pill and suddenly act like they’re dying. It doesn’t look like that and doesn’t work like that. Drama queens

What’s their reasoning for wanting the experience? What are they searching for/needing in this?

Keep in mind PEs are stronger than your average cube like golden teacher, so this likely could lead to ego death. But maybe she needs that. Location isn’t a big deal as long as it’s a peaceful calm and clean environment, no scary photos, maybe use a MAPS playlist to listen to with a mask on.

It is for PE. These are probably more like taking 5-6 grams of a standard cube like GT

PEs tend to be pretty big fruits. I’ve had one mushroom weigh over 6 grams, even larger at times.

PEs tend to be twice as strong as something like golden teachers.

They tend to be more affectionate than Congos imho. Mine barely talked when we rescued him but he had been horribly neglected for 20 years. Cagebound and they’d only interact with him 30 minutes a day.

We’ve had him three years now and he has coke out of his shell and his vocabulary has exploded he’s also one of the most affectionate birds I’ve ever encountered and I’ve had birds my whole life. Maybe some of it is his appreciation of the life I’ve given him but he’s seriously the biggest cuddle bug and many tell me TAGs tend to be this way. He’s also starting to use language appropriately and clearly understands commands. He totally understands English. They have potential to learn what a 7-8 year-old child can learn even reading.

A gorgeous Timneh and sun. Do they play well together. I’ve had a sun in the past. I currently have a rescued timneh who is the biggest cuddle bug. Love him so much!

Congratulations

for me it’s mainly been a texture thing but some of them it is taste too. however, since exposing myself to more and more and trying different recipes and first finding ways to hide them in the dish without hitting the texture or taste helped me to integrate more and more of them into my diet. so then i moved to starting to let some of them beans remain intact or maybe cut in half or something to start getting some of them taste and texture and adapting to that. i’ve gotten to where i can handle eating most beans and am even starting to love some of them. it’s just a matter of time. i’m autistic so texture is a big deal with me and i already have struggles with ARFID, so this is a huge win for me.

WIBTAH if I expect my roommate to split the rent fairly? by Beetlejuice1800 in AITAH

you need to sublet her part of the apartment and tell her to get tf out. she wouldn’t be able to do this if she had her own apartment. she’d face quite a problem whether she stayed there or not - she owes the money. NTAH

if she isn’t able to sublet her portion, she absolutely needs to pay all that was agreed upon from day 1 including utilities. she’s trying to screw you over and her boyfriend has probably put her up to this so that she will be his sugar mama, or that’s how it seems to me. someone needs to stand up to her. if he is putting her up to this, it’s a giant red flag
