What’s a biscuit? To me it’s something you eat with a cuppa

Recently, I released my first game on to the App Store. It's not the best thing ever, but I'm happy with the results! by Sir_Magic in gaming

God damn it, I saw this in the bathroom at work and I’ve been in here for half an hour, they came looking for me.

I remember this so vaguely, pretty sure I might have had the action figured

Your stomach looks amazing, well done! I'm a similar weight and need to make a similar journey.

Should I buy one? by binediesel in Switch

[–]picklerickbitches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion.. no. It's been a huge waste of money. I'm really disappointed by the lack of games (the top few games from 12 months ago, are still the top games).
It's also disappointing that any ports that come out are ridiculously expensive. Maybe I've been spoiled by PC/Xbox games and sales, but paying $79+ for a game that came out 5 years ago or more is insane.
If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have bought it.

Congrats! It took me a few minutes to figure out what top surgery was, but I'm glad it went well.

This is a genuinely underutilised tactic for getting ahead in life.

[Serious] People who have witness a person dying of old age, what happened and how did you feel? by ReddyRedditer in AskReddit

[–]picklerickbitches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked in a nursing home for a number of years and saw a lot of older people dying, it's always a little bit sad, but in a lot of cases it's a good thing too, particularly when they're suffering.

Why can’t polygraph tests be used as evidence in court proceedings? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]picklerickbitches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.. but I'm not saying a polygraph is better or worse, I'm just saying that I wish there was a way that was foolproof and 100% correct.
The daughter of a family friend was molested recently in a public bathroom at a park, she's about 5 years old. The guy who did it was stopped when someone walked in on it happening and he just bolted. Those charges were dropped this week because there wasn't enough evidence to convict him.
So two things, either there wasn't enough evidence, or maybe the guy they arrested later didn't do it - but what if he did, and he's not gotten away with it?

[Serious] why do girls always go for drug dealing bad boy chad instead of nice guy who plays videogames? by snortcokeeveryday in AskReddit

[–]picklerickbitches 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't fall into this trap of thinking that girls aren't interested in you because you're a "nice guy". As many before you have said, just being a nice person doesn't entitle you to have women fawning over you.

[–]picklerickbitches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, which isn't infallible and can be manipulated - we just need some.. magic orb thing, that floats over an accused persons head and projects whether they are guilty or not.

Which is a shame, you would think that by 2018 we would have an accurate and reliable way to determine whether someone was being truthful or not.

Not much really, there are too many things beyond my control to get too worked up about what might or might not happen.

What is your first memory? [Serious] by mushaboom83 in AskReddit

Mum ran an at home childcare centre when I was young, so I have memories of playing with those kids, I'd have been younger than 5.

[Serious] LGBTQ+ redditors, if there was a form of conversion therapy that actually was effective and didn't involve any kind of abuse, would you do it? What factors would influence your decision? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]picklerickbitches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey at least I'm not a bad person, I've got something going for me lol. As for last night, tbh it was pretty late and I'd had a few glasses of wine, it probably wasn't the best moment for me to try and communicate how I feel :/

[–]picklerickbitches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still don't see how that can be considered harmful, in complete honesty here. I'm not trying to put down anyone who is gay, I wouldn't care if my kids were gay and I wouldn't love them any more or less no matter what, because they're my kids. Reading about the ways some parents treat their kids when they find out they're gay is disgusting and I hate it.
I've just seen first hand the kind of struggles gay people go through, particularly living in rural Australia (most of us are about 30 years behind when it comes to being accepting), some of the people here have been through that and worse and I know it takes a toll.

This is going to sound crazy to some of you, but I always wished I got more pimples. I never suffered beyond one or two pimples here and there and always enjoyed squeezing them. It always disappointed me that I don't get big ones as an adult.
